Really loving this show, a balance of humor (which has been missing from Star Wars lately) and real menace in the form of Jod Na Nawood. Love that he reveals his true nature and at the same time does not try to kill the kids. He offers Fern a way out by allowing her to just surrender. Thought it was cool that Wim (who has been underutilized), found the lightsaber but was unable to use it properly which is realistic. However he helped his friends escape by hitting a button and dropping them through the floor. A cool call back to all the times he tries to touch something he shouldn't touch.
This is quintessential Star Wars. The tones are all there. This does what the Clone Wars did well. It was for kids with moments adults will understand and resonate more. So well done
For me, the Hutt eating the sentient servant being was the most horrifying moment in this episode, more than the spikes or acid. :( In fact it's probably one of the most horrifying moments in all of Star Wars.
@@GenerationTechWith writing that treats the audience like actual people instead of morons, if it's quickly obvious to us, it becomes quickly obvious to the characters. I admit I'm craving more of At Attin and the parents' efforts, those short episode starters are fine, but I just want more!
"You give up a few things chasing a dream" - Captain Long John Silver, Treasure Planet Makes me wonder what did Jon gave up just to survive. Short answer, a lot. Long answer now that's the real mystery.
Tbh I get even MORE Treasure Planet than I do Goonies. SM-33 is exactly the same robot even down to losing memories, becoming violent, then becoming fun again. Jod is exactly like the pirate in treasure planet even down to the betrayer and the fatherly role. It’s literally perfection I LOVE IT
I love that at his core, jod na nawood is very much a pirate. Even tho he has shown us how caring he is to the kids, at the end of the day he’s still a pirate that wants the treasure. Reminds me a lot of treasure planet, that despite Silver’s eventual attachment to jim he is still driven by his greed. I wonder if jod will give up his greed for the kids in the finale.
I've always thought Star Wars needed to get into space pirates. As an old school Star Wars tabletop RPG player and a fan of the expanded universe, space pirates were one of the things I always wanted them to dive into more. This is where they need to take the sequel era now that we're done with the New Republic and the First Order...make the galaxy full of warlords and pirate kings, and let these kids grow up into a real crew. I'd also love to see Jod's backstory and something like "Tales of the Onyx Cinder" as an animated show.
There was the whole Cade Skywalker being a drugged up pirate in the comics way back, but yeah I agree modern star wars has been missing this part ever since the Clone Wars and Rebels ended.
The last surviving Old Republic Mint explains the BFG mounted on the school, the strict security protocols about staying within the Barrier, and the Captain's last log about armouring up the ship (to survive the BFGs).
Okay, but if they WERE making hate vids about it, would that have made you want to watch it less or more? The answer will indicate what kind of person you are.
@gloriouslumi what piqued my curiosity was that I saw critical drinker and star wars theory saying it wasn't bad and channels like nerdrotic and snarky jay have no videos on it at all. Drinker and theory are usually pretty fair, those latter two basically can't ever say anything is good
@@pao_banaagsays a lot that it’s good enough that they can’t complain. And fair isn’t a word that I would use to describe them. Theory especially makes videos and titles out that are defined to whip fans up if it doesn’t fit what he thinks it should be.
I'm one of those jaded fans, but my kids really wanted to watch this and so far, I am *very* happy we did this. It's a family show, and you can tell this was obviously made by the same minds behind Spiderman. It's consistently funny and serious when need be.
What any kid would love to be doing, regardless of what year you were first introduced to the franchise (me it was 77). Unfortunately I aim waiting for Disney to go and ruin it.
Rewatching the first episode with my wife, I realized how much I wanted to see the ship shed parts continuously. Was really glad to finally see it happen. Could only be better if it pulled a full Bluesmobile self destruction move when they get back to At Attin. Still holding my breath for live action Hondo
Another Treasure Island parallel. Silver started out pretending to be nice to Jim Hawkins, but over the course of the story took a shine to the kid, to the point were he makes it clear to his crew that Jim won't be harmed. Silvo might have "betrayed" the kids, but I don't believe he'll actually harm them. Heck his "take them prisoner" command could have been a way to keep the kids safe.
the "take them prisoners" and the fact that he continuously asks, nay begs Fern to yield, not actually wanting to hurt her physically just take command of the situation, I do think in his own way he cares for the children beyond just wanting the treasure, he might even see some of himself in them, as he said in an earlier episode "I'm like you I'm Lost!" maybe even harkening back to the time when he more than likely was left alone after order 66, because come on there is no chance he was not a padawan.
I agree, and I had wondered if he had contrived that situation so that he could take over so that they weren't being led by a kid, and he could make the decisions, for their own good.
Very best episode yet! It's all going to be over too soon, just as it's getting really, really good. I like the way Jude Law code-switches as the situation changes. I can't wait to learn who he REALLY is. I'm really hoping they can come up with a season two. I just can't get enough.
I really think he’s a rogue padawn who survived order 66, the timeline adds up decently and he seems to know and quote Jedi doctrine (which would be really uncommon knowledge at this point in time) but twisted for more selfish and greedy purposes.
A huge star wars fan here like a lot of us. I first heard the trailer of skeleton crew on spotify with no premium. I didn't bother to investigate, I didn't care, I was too drained from trash after trash after trash and then being told I am the problem as the consumer. star wars lost it's magic and I just didn't care. So when I saw skeleton crew on disney I again had doubts....Another disney show that's chocked full of money with no real plan behind it again. But since I love star wars I went to go watch it looking for the good side. Like the storm trooper designs from the sequels. I got to say I am amazingly pleased. A complete 180 never have I ever felt so relatable with kid actors both from a kid perspective and a adult perspective. The whole time I was like "yeah I remember goofing off back then and my mom getting mad because she is in the middle of a business meeting". I just hope this show keeps going well and we get more good star wars series like this.
A fallen Jedi would have killed the kids … I think he’s a padawan scooped up the pirates and who adopted a rougher edge to survive … but probably a dude that avoided using his force powers during the Empire to avoid being handed over for a bounty …
Chag Sameach Alan! That was not something I was expecting you to say! 🎉😂 Been enjoying your content for at least 5 years. Keep it up and have a nice holiday brother
He cut off Rennod's recording, I'm betting that later we will find out that the full recording says something about the Old Republic Mint not being the "real" treasure of At Attin, and it also seems telegraphed that the "Supervisor" is actually Rennod. In the case of the latter, how old is that guy? There are multiple hints that 33, his Lair, the ship are at least early Prequel-era if not High Republic. I mean both the people at the Spa and 33 talk about the place as if the two were centuries apart.
Yall keep saying high republic era, but that ship was buried under a LOT of rock. Unless deliberately placed, this ship is at least 1000 years old, if not older. SM-33 also refers to another planet I can’t remember (Aldani?) as a swampy bog planet, whereas in current canon it’s a lush grass world. That ship’s likely been there long enough for a planet to have been terraformed with different biomes. This is the old republic era being introduced into canon.
I love that Jod like took the Jedi tenants of no attachments and has committed to it. Like yes, this is in keeping with the Jedi code. It is perhaps not the most idealized application of it, but it is an application of it and shows how dangerous it can be.
Just want to point out again that in ep 1, even though he wore a mask, his true self was on full display when he threw an innocent law-abiding civilian out of an airlock for asserting his lawful rights. They had to either retcon that act by revealing the civilian was never actually murdered, or the more likely thing which is what we got. Makes you realize just how much of a psychopath this guy has been with these kids. Well-practiced. [Edit] Allan makes this point at 1:40 in the video - was wondering why Allan hadn't pointed this out in an earlier video.
Jod was probably a lost Padawan who got kidnapped by Pirates. The evidence points to it in my mind, his use of the force is to precise to simply be magnets, he can move objects in a very natural way.
It’s definitely not magnets 🧲< No No No No!! The way it’s shown is like a actual force user not magnets!! It’s on point and knows the way of Jedi teachings + can use the force to hold a lightsaber! I'm saying it Jod is a abandoned Jedi!
I’m really thinking we have a Starlord situation here. Silvo was probably a youngling who was either kidnapped or rescued by pirates. He has clearly had some Jedi training-the attachments speech was another example of twisted Jedi teaching. I hope Hondo was the one who raised him. I also think his challenge of Fern was never going to end in a death. I think he knows the only way to get them out is if he is in charge and can control SM33. He knows he will have to make choices the kids would never make (and he doesn’t want to put them in the situation to have to make those choices.)
11:30 I was almost expecting a repeat of that parody scene from Robot Chicken where Qui-Gon says "hold this" and Obi-Wan fails to catch his lightsaber before it starts burning & cutting through the floors of the Lucrehulk lol
I absolutely loved the moment wim takes that saber and gets all serious like he's about to do something big (probably motivated by jod's earlier speech) and jod says: "carefull win, this is not one of your stories" and then the boy proceeds to ignite the lightsaber, almost chops his own legs drops it while probably shitting himself and go cry in the corner hahahahahaha. That's proper writing, innocent children being innocent children, even if he was a force sensitive child which probably is not, he has not a single clue how to use a saber, that's the 1st time he ever put his hands on one and he never seen one being used, so that makes perfect sense to go hilariously wrong! lol
Another interesting tidbit is, that the old republic seemed to have not yet privatized their monetary politics and was managing money politics themselves, rather than having a shady clan doing it for them.
This episode is some of the best disney star wars we've gotten, the entire Scipio professor bit slipped right over my head until you mentioned it which makes it even funnier to me that he just was like oh shit run away. Seeing Jod flip now was also a great twist, I was hoping he wasn't just gonna stay nice guy get the kids home. This show has been great and can't wait to see the follow up
This was a great episode, Jod broke the Han-Solo "good-rogue" stereotype and now his character could totally go any direction. Will he be redeemed or will he become a true villain? I think the "greatest sacrifice" was a foreshadow of how Jod was going to develop.
This was by far the most cinematic of all the episodes; look, pacing, writing, acting & that true Star Wars essence. It is going to be a very long week till next Tuesday, folks. Two things: his words to Wim are extremely Jedi-like as if he was told these things as a young Padawan. The other, if he was truly diabolical, Jod would’ve outright killed Fern.
When he told the kid to let go of his attachments, that reminded me of jedi training. I think he was a really young padawon who survived order 66. He has so many different names to hide his identity.
Love this episode. From your comment. Right before the guard asks Jod if he is the professor from Scipio, we (and they) see the guards talking to a Muun (I presume the actual professor) in the mud bath then looking up at them. The jig is up.
This episode was great, but the peak moment was Jod/Jack/whatever name he uses now ordered the 33 to flood stairwell full of pirates with acid, followed by said pirates screams off screen...😂😂😂😂
I had the feeling Jod would betray the kids at some point. He was super untrustworthy with his fake names and people kept warning them not to follow him.
Silvos advice to wimm, break free of attachments... sounded like a twisted version of the jedi code. Silvo sounds like he was an order 66 padawan who joined a pirate gang after the fall, having basic force abilities backs this up... but he's far too young, isn't he? This is mando era, so 15 years post rotj. Luke was born at the fall (order 66), was 22 at the end of rotj, so should be around 37 at skeleton crew. So if Silvo was 8-10 as a padawan at the fall, he should be 45-47 years old now... that seems abit old for silvo, in my opinion, I know jude law is 51, but the character feels younger. Love the show so far, feels fresh like mando season 1, totally separate from everything else but completely fitting in universe!
He could have been a youngling, not yet a padawan. If he was 6-7 at the time of Order 66, then he would have had enough training for the Force abilities we've seen and he'd be 43-44 now, which seems about right.
Darth Vader was aged 45 when he died on the DS-2 (Shaw was 65 at the time). Obi-wan was 57 when he died on the DS-1 (Guinness was 61 at the time). Padme was 27 when she died on Polis Massa (Portman was 24 at the time). Don't let the actor's actual age be the absolute metric for the character's age. Jod was probably about the same age as the kids are in SC now, he's alluded to being "just like you" to the kids. Lost, scared, and far from their safe home.
@@andrewhcit That is my bet. We don't really see him use the force in a way that indicates he had experience with anything beyond the basics. Youngling seems a better fit than padawan, at the moment.
This was peak star wars. Every single second was such a great moment. If every show was as interesting as this star wars would be massive for mainstream.
In my opinion, I have to say skeleton crew is possibly the best show. Disney has produced next to Andor. Where do you see the future of the show going? Do you think the wider fanbase will embrace it? You know, I don’t think it does. I think the writers know what we associate with the Jedi which is why they are using the terminology. However, as a pirate you never want to get attached to people because they ultimately will betray you. It makes sense for Joe to give Wim advice to forget because that is what a pirate would do. Yes, he’s force sensitive, but I doubt he was a Jedi.
Totally agree man, this is an amasing show!!! Love it. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and your family! By the way do you think that he could be an old aprendice from Qui Gon Jin?!
This show seems like a perfect formula for a family show. We parents feel our youthful sense of wonder through the kid protag's eyes, it borrows from proven successes of the past like Goonies, and it is actually competently written. If we hadn't been burned by trash like the Acolyte, BOBF and Kenobi, this would be a certified hit. But the viewership is never gonna be what this show deserves.
My little heart was thrilled to see a lightsaber. My face lit right up along with the blade. Lightsabers are what made me fall in love with Star Wars when I saw A New Hope in 1977. To my mind, every Star Wars show needs a lightsaber in one capacity or another. On another note, didn’t Jod have the wrong side of his blade at Fern’s neck? I thought the sharp side was the convex side, not the concave side. Could be wrong, though…
So that knife to me is what I would call a combat knife, big, forarm length, dangerous slashing on the concave side, but also sharp, hard bits on the convex. It doesn't cut as well, but it's good for "sawing" into things.... You can still really hurt someone with enough force, even if it is not ideal.
Had rusty metal serration on that side, looks more dangerous so easier to bluff but safer if she tried to *spin* (cuz that's a good trick) out of the hold.
Merry Christmas Alan and Congo Captain Silvo could have been a Padawan who survived Order 66. Then used his teachings and became a pirate to survive. Pirates in history were actually more liberal than what pop culture paint them as. They voted for their captain, their code of honour, they shared all treasure that was obtained and they cared for their injured. The more servre the injury you got through work the more you earned.
Jod reminds me of what Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus had to resort to ~ doing certain things he probably wouldn't have to, in order to survive after order 66. Yep, I suspect he was a padawan survivor, just like Grogu & Cal Kestis. It explains why he has so many aliases. Unfortunately, Jod obviously chose a completely different path from the aforementioned former Jedi younglings, which also includes Ahsoka Tano. Although I suspect he will have a change of heart before the s1 finale & will probably do the right thing = make sure the 4 kids get back home safely & reunite with their parents.
You also if to wonder if the mention of the banking clan being at the resort has some sort of importance? Plus the fact that the pirate’s identity on the holotape was hidden is really intriguing. This show really makes you think about all the tiny intricacies and it keeps getting better and better
"Dirty By The Dozen" that movie premise would be so wild. A mixture of the classic hardcore action flick and a story about raising 12 kids. XD the crossover I never knew I wanted.
I always thought he just a conman or pirate who was just force sensitive, but its implied that he might be a padawan at the end of the episode. I new something was off about him and would do something bad, but the way he did it was shocking.

Spa employee: "Oh no, not again."
(Get's eaten by a hutt).
Yeah you would think they would have done a droid, it's hard to find good help after all. But I guess they don't care.
For me, the Hutt eating the sentient servant being was the most horrifying moment in this episode, more than the spikes or acid. :( In fact it's probably one of the most horrifying moments in all of Star Wars.
"Not again.."
Maybe the worker exudes a hallucinogenic substance from his skin, like some toads here on Terra.
@@orokusaki1243 Hope you are right.
@maybe he can retreat into into his shell and pass through undigested and that’s why he says not again. It implies he’s survived this before…
I am just glad that Wim “Skywalker” wasn’t an instant lightsaber expert
He should of swung it around exactly like Rey was when "training". And everyone should've looked at him like wtf you doing? Including Jod
Right when he pulled it, I thought to myself I think the emitter is pointed down, sure enough one second later lol
It's Fern Skywalker
That was hilarious and perfectly done
Like that guy from the original trilogy that got one lesion from a hermit and suddenly he never needed any more saber training.
This was probably one of the best episodes that Disney ever made in my opinion
this is just a cool show
It was really good but didn’t even come close to One Way Out. To be fair though that episode was about as close to perfection as it’s possible to get.
@@ethanmillward675 it's funny you said that because I just watched one way out a couple days ago 😂
@DarthAnakin73haha awesome did it take 1st for you?
@@GenerationTechWith writing that treats the audience like actual people instead of morons, if it's quickly obvious to us, it becomes quickly obvious to the characters.
I admit I'm craving more of At Attin and the parents' efforts, those short episode starters are fine, but I just want more!
I know people compare Skelton Crew to the Goonies but I also get Treasure Planet vibes too.
"You give up a few things chasing a dream" - Captain Long John Silver, Treasure Planet
Makes me wonder what did Jon gave up just to survive.
The quality of this episode felt like I was watching Andor again, loved it.
Have you not seen clonewars or rebels? There's some fun space pirate story arcs dotted through the series!
There was the whole Cade Skywalker being a drugged up pirate in the comics way back, but yeah I agree modern star wars has been missing this part ever since the Clone Wars and Rebels ended.
@@afunkymonke Hondo alone could do his own series.
The show is starting to get real good.
He knew it was a lightsaber he didnt flinch.
This was a really well balanced episode and very cleverly written. Thanks for the commentary.
The last surviving Old Republic Mint explains the BFG mounted on the school, the strict security protocols about staying within the Barrier, and the Captain's last log about armouring up the ship (to survive the BFGs).
BFG? Big fuckin gun? lol
This show gets better & better
Favorite episode of the series thus far! Jod is such a wildcard! Not sure what to make of him. Everyone did great!
I checked this out because the hate-watch channels seemed to be silent on it, and i have enjoyed the show so far.
The hatemongers are the path to the Dark Side. Relax, be entertained, and enjoy what you can - life is far too short to be a curmudgeon all the time.

This was the best episode so far! Really enjoyed
Best Star Wars episode in years. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Somebody had to be the first person to hold a lightsaber upside down.
I think rebels had a bit with Kanin telling Ezera the saber was backwards before he turned it on.
I love this show! Thank you, Allen! Merry Christmas everyone!
Such a good show... I'm really enjoying it.
Skeleton Crew likn Andor has really surprised me and is definitely top tier Star Wars. He's definitely a fallen Jedi.
A fallen Jedi would have killed the kids … I think he’s a padawan scooped up the pirates and who adopted a rougher edge to survive … but probably a dude that avoided using his force powers during the Empire to avoid being handed over for a bounty …
Excellent review.
I hope Skeleton Crew finds a wide audience…it really deserves to be seen.
The droid is probably Rennod.
I feel like 33 would recognize the corpse of his old boss, and probably saw it all go down so nah.
@@afunkymonke A captain goes down with his ship.
They tell us explicitly that rennod was stabbed to death before the ship crashed, I don’t see why they’d do this weird switch up to bring him back
Yall keep saying high republic era, but that ship was buried under a LOT of rock.
I was delighted by this episode. Thank you again for your excellent commentary.
Guess we will find out
A bit like Kanan Jarrus but Kanan wasn't kidnapped.
It’s definitely not magnets 🧲< No No No No!! The way it’s shown is like a actual force user not magnets!! It’s on point and knows the way of Jedi teachings + can use the force to hold a lightsaber! I'm saying it Jod is a abandoned Jedi!
The "Pink sock" is killin' me, man...
0:06 I appreciate it!
I loved this episode and your video on it, thanks!
The Richard Donner/ Goonies easter eggs were one of my favorite parts of this episode.
11:30
I was almost expecting a repeat of that parody scene from Robot Chicken where Qui-Gon says "hold this" and Obi-Wan fails to catch his lightsaber before it starts burning & cutting through the floors of the Lucrehulk lol
This show has been great and can't wait to see the follow up
AMAZING EPISODE!!!! Love it sooo much and your videos ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Alan for sharing your X'mas Eve with friends around the world who don't have family to spend this holiday season with. Cheers.

Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night. And I loved this episode
This was a great episode, Jod broke the Han-Solo "good-rogue" stereotype and now his character could totally go any direction. Will he be redeemed or will he become a true villain? I think the "greatest sacrifice" was a foreshadow of how Jod was going to develop.
This show keeps entertaining the hell out of me
This was by far the most cinematic of all the episodes; look, pacing, writing, acting & that true Star Wars essence.
I mean, "get rid of attachments" is literally what's taught at the Jedi Temple.
Merry Christmas! Thank you for all the work you do! Love your content!

"THIS is how you subvert expectations!"
Agreed. SC is surprisingly very good so far. Can't wait to see the next episode!
This episode was great, but the peak moment was Jod/Jack/whatever name he uses now ordered the 33 to flood stairwell full of pirates with acid, followed by said pirates screams off screen...😂😂😂😂
That was really dark
"Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"
~ Hoban 'Wash' Washburne
When the acid comes pouring back in, Urkel should have said, "Did I do that?"
"Hey Carl!"
He probably survived. He was probably standing above the level of acid and ran up the stairs when it started filling up.
I've been surprised by how much I have enjoyed the series. Definitely something that I'll be rewatching in the future.
This was GREAT.
Merry Christmas, Allan, thanks for the videos

@5:20 it's also very Jedi-like teachings. releasing attachments.
Loving all these episodes! They’re great!
In my opinion, I have to say skeleton crew is possibly the best show. Disney has produced next to Andor. Where do you see the future of the show going? Do you think the wider fanbase will embrace it? Unfortunately the viewership has been really bad :(
@ oh my God, I can’t believe you replied!! I hope it catches on later though, but I don’t know…. Not a lot of people watch the Star Wars shows anymore.
@@GenerationTech Disney+ memberships are slowly growing back to peek numbers after the dip they took in 2022, I had hoped that the viewership was a result of Disney+ losing memberships due to their business decisions but it just looks like the show is flying under the radar due to poor advertisement and general access to the service.
@@GenerationTech Agreed, it just seems people are burned out. The world has become so, darn, sinical. People seem to just be waiting for things to be ruined which is absolutely the wrong approach. Every project needs to be judged on it's own merits.
The actual "real fans" will still watch - enjoyment will still be dependent on the quality of the characters and story, and the lore accuracy being reasonable.
The rest may claim to be "real fans", but are clearly fair-weather fans who are easily manipulated by the Dark Side. Probably are genetically modified dolphin-infiltrators, trying to sow chaos and discord in the SW fandom...
The advice he gave sounded like something the jedi would say
The whole “attachments” point gives it away quite easily
You know, I don’t think it does. I think the writers know what we associate with the Jedi which is why they are using the terminology. However, as a pirate you never want to get attached to people because they ultimately will betray you. It makes sense for Joe to give Wim advice to forget because that is what a pirate would do. Yes, he’s force sensitive, but I doubt he was a Jedi.
Totally agree man, this is an amasing show!!! Love it. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and your family! By the way do you think that he could be an old aprendice from Qui Gon Jin?!
On this Christmas, I'm thankful for no morning inspection, my family being happy and healthy at home, and a new Skeleton Crew ep.
I was thinking 'I bet Wim is holding the light saber the wrong way' and was delighted at how it played out
This show is INCREDIBLE!!! He absolutely was a Padawan that survived order 66. We were also right about At Attin being a bank planet.
I was hesitant, but gave Skeleton Crew a chance and I love it.
happy holidays, i am loving this show
This show seems like a perfect formula for a family show.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Alan! Thanks for your content!
@ Huh! Good to know. Thanks!
Had rusty metal serration on that side, looks more dangerous so easier to bluff but safer if she tried to *spin* (cuz that's a good trick) out of the hold.
Merry Christmas Alan and Congo
Captain Silvo could have been a Padawan who survived Order 66. Then used his teachings and became a pirate to survive.
Pirates in history were actually more liberal than what pop culture paint them as. They voted for their captain, their code of honour, they shared all treasure that was obtained and they cared for their injured. The more servre the injury you got through work the more you earned.
"No attachments" is standard Jedi training.
Merry Christmas Allen, thank you for all the great content this year as always 🎉
Okay, between the talk about attachments and how he handled that saber, maybe he actually is a Jedi youngling that escaped Order 66.
Merry Christmas 🎄 great episode
You also if to wonder if the mention of the banking clan being at the resort has some sort of importance? Plus the fact that the pirate’s identity on the holotape was hidden is really intriguing. This show really makes you think about all the tiny intricacies and it keeps getting better and better
"Dirty By The Dozen" that movie premise would be so wild. A mixture of the classic hardcore action flick and a story about raising 12 kids. XD the crossover I never knew I wanted.
I loved the "gangsters hideaway turn tourist attraction" bit. Very Al Capone
Happy Retribution Day! Thank you for another year of genuinely interesting food for thought and nuanced commentary.
Merry Christmas Allen (sp)! Keep up the great work!
Merry Christmas Alan. Thanks for the drop!
I think he became captain to protect the kids later.
Lol. Like Fern would have made a beeline and he knows he needs to throw off the pirates??
I loved this episode. Everything about it.

Dirty By The Dozen is a mashup I never considered but now desperately want to see.
It's shaping up to be a favorite of mine. Great story
I always thought he just a conman or pirate who was just force sensitive, but its implied that he might be a padawan at the end of the episode. I new something was off about him and would do something bad, but the way he did it was shocking.
