At 4:10 he says it's the 79 last.
Odd the video text says 20 Last, but Dale says 79 Last. It doesn’t look like the 20 Last.
I totally agree! One special thing: a fantastic mix of sturdiness and smoothness! More or less no break-in period!

I just got a pair of British Tan Grizzly’s in their moc toe version.
They're in the 79 last, not 20. I have the same pair. They're super easy to break in and very comfortable.

A Roughout Upland Moctoe & or captoe in this leather would be soo sick.
I have this leather in Cattail Grizzly, Cattail Grizzly Reverse and Charcoal on the 6” 79 Captoe, 6”79 Plaintoe And the 6” 20 Plaintoe respectively. It is a great leather very thick but tumbled so easy to break in.
I miss the cattail. Something about the British tan feels bland to me.

their 79 last is pretty overrated imo. Once I discovered Vibergs I never looked back. Clinch for engineer boots. I've owned 3 pairs of Trumans for reference..
@@elephantricity Vibergs all day long. I used to own a lot of Trumans, but now Vibergs outnumber everything else.
The fit is kinda meh for me. Own one pair of 20 Last and while I love how they look, the fit holds me back from buying anymore.

isn’t more like cap toe/plain toe and your choice of proprietary outsole? It is not like the outsoles you have on some of your Truman boots.
Thumbnail says 20 last. At 4:10 you say 79 last. Almond shaped, pointy tapered toes matter to those with splay feet.
Ya these don’t really have the bump toe of the 20 Last.

Actually really happy my wife told me no to these, my year old doubleshot is a similar color and looks 100x better to my eye.
