Philip is so good for any account really he can litteraly pair with anyone and do well and is so versatile that even when next meta commanders come for whatever troop type you will be able to still fit him somewhere and have him do well
I wouldn't really advise anyone to invest in him for a 5th march but I agree he is versatile. The meta we are in is heavy nuke and next gen will all be pretty strong nuke commanders probably, I don't see Philip fitting in there.
Got Philip as a f2p for my third march. ZL/Herman Scipi/Liu Philip/Arthur Felt odd investing into Joan or Nevsky because they are just so old and I didn't have and couldn't unlock huo. Also didn't max with the swaps cuz medium age account so both Arthur and Philip at 5531. Question is do I max both of them now or how do I proceed? Philip seems like a hit or miss tbh, as an amplifier probably the best and very universal but not especially great. Also my only legendary crited pieces are for now kind of worthless because Philip isn't a cav commander.
Max Arthur and in my opinion Philip is overhyped so I would hold off investing now. After maxing Arthur probably saving for next gen infantry would be best course after.
Yes considerably better. I think I prefer scipio primary against imperiums or opponents who I will have a harder time with. Ragnar seems to be higher damage but a lot squishier primary option.

Reason i already have Philip and huo and 700gh left for Arthur and scipio for my lc
Good choices overall, I'm not completely sold on Philip yet but I may circle back to him later.
