A K/S fanvid from Spock's POV! I felt how loved Jim is in this video. A clear, and beautiful take on the lover viewing the beloved. Just beautiful. Watching it made me actually cry.
Wow. When the funeral scene started I was like, "surely not..."; but what followed was a work of art. I don't even have words for how amazing this was. The song title warns of the hurt, but you illustrated such heartbreak. It was beautifully done. The parts that were most poignant started with the close up of Spock entering the turbolift, the scene where how close they are is illustrated, the moment you realize that the relationship never reached it's full potential as Kirk walks away, the brief TOS flashback (brilliant, by the way), and for me it tops off at the moment where Spock has trouble being around their old friends. The rest of the video is lovely, but after the culmination of all of that hurt it just sort of bleeds the rest of the way out. I know how the song ends, but for the whole thing I was praying for some miracle, if only to stop Spock from being so broken. Thank you for sharing.
fanfiction to me is the most beautiful type of art because the readers and viewers get to think of the "what ifs" and the "could be's" and my gosh what you have done here is all kinds of wonderful and I dont think my heart was ready to take on such a staggering amount of angstyness. amazing video :-)

This was amazingly done! I love the contrast between the present day mourning Spock and how you used subtle coloring to show memories. Then when you showed the mind meld and the TOS footage it was like a gut punch of sadness.
This is beautiful. Heartfelt, and rings all the way to the bottom of the soul, it brings up feelings for anyone who has ever lost someone. And you understand the sensation almost painfully. Exquisite.
I didn't read the description before watching the vid, but I got the idea anyway that Jim died. I thought it was just plot bunnies breeding in my head again, but it's awesome to realize that it was actually part of your intent.

What really hurt was the third movie seperated them almost entirely and cut almost all interaction.
