You seem to be a natural-born teacher, Emma. I follow three or four other more experienced watercolorists on youtube and I have to say you have stronger teaching skills than any of them. I love watching your talent grow month by month and I hope you never let anything get in your way.
I recently discovered you on UA-cam and I was so fascinated watching you paint. I especially like the floral paintings. Flower gardening is my passion and I want to learn how to paint flowers as well as you do. Thank you for all your tutorials and for making me feel comfortable about getting started.
Just stunning! I love these florals so much. The peony bud with that color?! Gah, be still my heart. I get so excited when I see a new video from you and it’s 22 minutes!! The longer the better. Your teaching style is so personal. I truly feel like you are teaching straight to me. Thanks for inviting me over for a bit of watercolor. Noah’s getting lots of hair, but he’s still got those chubby arms. Just adorable. Love you! ❤️
Thank you. Love your teaching style. I am a beginner and while I am intimidated, your style helps me to realize that I can do this with lots of practice!
Just found you - didn’t think I had a need for watercolour florals, just watched out of interest. But now I find I’m intrigued and inspired, and thinking that maybe I DO need to do them!! Love your teaching style, you are so clear. Thank you for sharing and inspiring!! Jen❤️❤️
This was so helpful and thank u for noting the specific colors used on the florals as well as what was mixed because it assists me so much in getting to “know” the colors better and how they mix. After 30 years I finally know how to paint flowers thx to ur wonderfully illustrated videos!
Loved this tutorial, Emma. It really feels like I am hanging out at ur house and we are making art. I also really really love ur paint palette, and the way u have set up your paints in there. It really goes to show us that we don't have to have a 100 plus paint colors, to create magical, beautiful works of art.
I’m always excited when you make a new video. Love these fall colors, they’re my favorite. It’s been so helpful to actually see you mix the colors with your brush and talk about the how’s and why’s of color mixing, instead of doing it out of frame. I’m (a beginner) going to try this! My tastes run more towards deeper vibrant colors than pastels so thank you for showing us how to mix these 🤗🌸❤️
perfect timing - I was looking for fall florals yesterday and ended up practicing your winter floral bouquet video. Can't wait to try this one today! 🤗
Made my morning to see this in my UA-cam feed! Been playing with this sort of thing for the last week, but just couldn't seem to get things right. Thank you!
Emma, this was a wonderful video. I also wonder if you could go through the arrangement of your pallette one of these days. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach those of us who desperately want to learn to paint. You are a wonderful instructor.
I love your work. You are an inspiration and a natural teacher. Do you plan to do a series of fall leaves or just leaves. I would like to see how you would approach all leaves in watercolor. Thank you for your videos, they are so helpful to a beginner.
I love when I see an alert that you have a new video. It means a lot that you share your own trepidation at times because it gives me the courage to just march on and try out paintings I might hesitate to do. Can you think about doing a painting of some trees or woods?
❤️💗❤️your videos, they are so helpful and you make it look so easy. I’m practicing but not at ease yet. I have trouble with realism and Impressionism. I try to make it too real and not enough white space. Thank you so much for sharing I know it must be hard with a little one. He is growing so fast. He sure is a cutie. You are blessed. 🌸
One of your best videos yet! I love when you trail off because you don’t know what you’re saying 😂😂 Words are hard! But really, thank you for inspiring me once again to get out my paintbrush. 💖
Yay! Nice video to return home to, Emma! Gorgeous and just in time as I'm JONESING for a brush, paint & water! And FANTASTIC materials. Hope you're enjoying your Denver box of goodies. Can't wait to see a paint comparison video from you. SOOOO good to be home, and to such a marvelous YT lesson. Thank you as always! :) Frances PS: And you're right: it's pronounced "DALL-YA." (for the flower dahlia, of which they are HUGE, GORGEOUS, & numerous!)
@@mtnestar That's a nice expression of it too, Heidi! Thank you for telling me. I'm from RI, (USA), and the East Coast accent really chops up both of ours quite badly! :)
Hello, how are you ?, I just started in this world of watercolor and I love your videos, although I do not understand anything you say because I do not know any English, a pity that they are not subtitled in Spanish. Your paintings have a special charm. The ones I like the most are the flowers. Congratulations. Traducido por google
And a BIG PS to all Amazon shoppers: Emma, you got me HOOKED on the Princeton Snap brushes. Sadly, Amazon is phasing them out to 3rd party, at a much higher cost to artists. So...my advice to everyone who also loves them (thanks to Emma & Noah!) is BUY THEM NOW!
Ugh. Only thing I hate more than floral is doing the leaves that go with them. I can do the flowers but so suck at leaves no matter how much I practice them. I avoid them like the plague until I feel guilty for not being well rounded.😑😣👍💜
