P&O, what a crappy company. What people don’t realise is the HUGE impact on safety this has on these large complex ships. The expertise is gone, the familiarity with the vessels and the route is gone, only a matter of time before there is a potentially fatal incident. Whether it be a fire, collision, grounding, loss of propulsion in bad weather or confined waters. All that experience of dealing with these scenarios is gone now. P&O are not safe to sail with or be on. Then there is the underpaid and over worked staff that remain. What P&O have done is cruel, dangerous and utterly irresponsible.
