  • Welcome back folks to the real first episode! Your hosts Brandon and Valentin speak on the process of integrating inspiration into creativity. We’ll speak on our own personal artistic experiences along our journey as creatives. How does one start a new chapter in personal expression?
Dissecting the formula that produces a meaningful outcome to the artist and the viewer. We point to the calling that turns thoughts and emotions into the act of creating itself. What does this look like in the day to day for an artisan? We will discuss helpful guidance for creators to implement their ideas in a manner that is digestible to their audience.
There are many reasons why one is compelled to express themselves in a particular way, this episode is a wonderful example to reflect on the entirety of creation. As always stay juicy

It always fascinates me, that despite the fact, that we're living hundreds of kilometers apart, I feel very much in the same boat as you do!
It's really nice to hear you talk about how art is made and how it's never planned, but just comes by itself. Something that i've been frustrated with, is that I mostly get inspiration in the middle of the night, and very rarely at daytime. I always try to get back to a normal sleep schedule, but then I get an idea at 23:30 PM, and I have to start a new project, or else I just forget it. And that's why I go to sleep at 1:30 AM almost every day.
I found this podcast to be quite helpful, and it makes me more assured of myself, that I'm not alone in this creative adventure. I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode!

Well, everything is already "planned "in a higher perspective, maktub, it's also why it doesn't (always) go according to the mind's plan, we talk about such stuff more in depth in future episode! :)
You can always set up the foundation of your project, or write down the key points you don't wanna forget
But by writing your comment, you kinda give yourself signs of how to "resolve" or at least understand why you only get inspiration at this particular time, which is a matter of habit, which is gonna be the next episode, a really important one
But creativity can't be forced, sometimes it doesn't work haha, thanks for listening!

Actually, thanks as well for giving us ideas about what to talk about in better detail, we'll dedicate an episode to inspiration and its ebb and flow. (We've actually done the first season of 10 episodes so it'll be in season 2; even though we surely talk about it at some points, we can always go deeper) 🙏

One thing I'm seeing more and more about this (it depends a lot on the constitution and habits of a certain being like my american friend could not do this lol, like he's most productive at 3am on weed lmao) but for my case, I'm finding it hard to really focus and work on music later in the day, like I have to wake up an do it right away, take 1 or 2 hours of the day doing that right away then I can move on doing smth else, so that might fit the way you make art, like ofc u can work on smth different after if flow and inspiration are here but that's the pattern ive been seeing for me, might help you out. We don't talk about this in the podcasts so that's why im writing this here

@@purjus I might try this, see if it's going to work for me or not. Ever since I listened to this podcast, my habit hasn't really changed, so maybe I just have to get some weed too lol

@@mrdoctor175 whatever fıts you best man, it's all about trial and error, experimentation, just listening to a podcast, or relying on a an external source (like weed in this case (or just podcast)) wouldn't be enough, you gotta put a bit of yourself in it and cooperate with the flow, these external things can be great source of inspiration for sure tho
