A million years ago I was out in Long Island to the homes of some guys, Sammy the bull, John G., his son John G. Jr. all before they went to federal prison. Their homes were nice, everything was well kept, especially the yards, really nice upkeep. But the houses weren't the nicest on the block, or excessively large, just nice everyday houses that were well taken care of. Their houses were nothing like the TV versions of their business. The decorating style wasn't to my taste, I like a house that looks like someone really loves there. I made sure I never flirted with the wives or the daughters, bad things can happen.
jake if you look in the 1980 s like i live in ct there a lot of 40.000 sq ft home on the water and back then supply were pushing them !!! maybe sum of my customer are so rich they wont the biggest and best i hear it all the time in ct thx leak master plumbing and heating and cooling
Could be a funeral parlor or nursing home. Bill, will you show the change out if the company gets the bid and if your part of the crew that replaces the compressor?
A nice place, indeed. I take it the transformers on the wall are there due to mismatch between 208 and 240 equipment voltage / line voltage? Interesting video -- it'll be great if you get the repair job.
meter looked to be on diode/continuity beep setting, but I'd guesstimate by the readings on it around 300 ohms to ground on all terminals. hi-pot/insulation test would show very bad short to ground, let alone the winding's are likely shorted to each other and themselves, would have been nice to see the resistance of each individual winding, not that it maters with it being junk and no insulation left on winding's inside, clearly too many years of acidic oil eating itself.
I would’ve reversed the leads on the part winding start contactors and see if she would free up... it’s a semi, can’t run backwards and it could be rebuilt !!
omg thats what i say when a customer but its a train i say sorry the train has been stopped lol love it ed bon jovi your #1 fan brother man leak masterplumbing
this can't be a house ...... just can't be.... a housing unit yes makes sense but a single house i dont think so..... 3 phase? such a mechanical rooom... i doubt it its a housing unit would make more sense
In a home? That basement is worth more than my whole house! Thanks for posting.
That's a freaking big house, I'm trying to remember the last house I saw with three-phase power?
I believe that’s Tony Sopranos house

They have a freaking mechanical room in their house.
Dude, semi-hermetic in a home? A gentleman for sure owns that residence
A gentleman comedian had this home built yet a lady is the current owner. This is the first time I ran into a system like this in a home
@@thehvachacker The gentleman comedian? Would we immediately recognize the former owner's name?

How huge must the house be? I really cant imagine that somebody needs this amount of cooling capacity.
How much power does such a thing use?
if you got the job for replacement or start up with the new compressor let us know please !
WOW that place must be big! Tall ceilings, multiple floors, big windows. The works.
Nice Trane CCABC25 chiller. That model should date back to 1982 / 1983. Had a good run!!
Holy crap that's a HOUSE? 3 phase? How many tons is that compressor?
Damn hoss...thats like....25 ton compressor...30 maybe. I love those lavish estates you do!!!!
would love to see the followup on the ?
Why is the compressor enclosed in a box in the basement ? That has to run mighty hot !!
silencer kit , them things get loud!
What about the crankcase heater?
Great 👍 video ,,,Bill,,,,this is TRANE start part winding delta connection ? I am rigth ?
Why did you not disconnect the wires from the comp and check the wiring from the box to the comp?

Do you use a flat rate book? If so who’s?

Nice, I love it when someone over engineers something like. Now they're going to be looking for someone to point the finger at !!!
Do a follow up video on the fix if you can.

Is it 3 phase
Is that a water source heat pump?
Definitely a chiller.... boiler in the background
I think I would have tried to reverse rotation before I say its dead. Valve off and pull the heads to check the valves.
wow this is an awesome set up!

That will be a fun change out.

Great Video Bill !
Who makes the better quality insulated tools that anyone has used and abused themselves
I like the Milwaukee ones honestly
@@srabjr1Agreed, I have the Milwaukee ones as well. Few years old now and they're holding up.
Hope you replace it Bill ... Good vid ...
Should have had a oil pressure switch.
Nice work bruh.
Good work
Even a big Trane can be stopped, lol. 🤪
Big house, big Trane, big pocketbook.
Nice trouble shooting video 👍
the train has jumped the tracks.
lost me
This is not a house its a building
its a very large house on very large poperty
Is that’s Joe Biden’s Basement ??
His house in Delaware is mostly built on a concrete slab and a small section with a crawl space, no basement.
this can't be a house ...... just can't be.... a housing unit yes makes sense but a single house i dont think so..... 3 phase? such a mechanical rooom... i doubt it its a housing unit would make more sense
Same, except, this is probably a billionare mansion.
Yep it took a lot of abuse before it died a slow miserable death.
Smh
