is this method would be correct in submarine (fixed center of buoyancy) my graduation project about ROV and i want to know the angle it will make if i add weight in its gripper

    A tanker of W 50,000 t, MCTC 650 tm, KM 11 m, KG 10.1 m, listed 7° to port and trimmed 5
    m by the stern.
Find the transfer of oil that must take place between Nos: 10 P & S and Nos: 2 P & S to bring
the ship upright and trimmed 3 m by the stern.
The COG of the tanks are transversely 14 m apart & longitudinally 140 m apart.
please can you explain this sum sir

Sir just to ensure I understand, would it also be correct to say that the rise in G to g1 is 0.04m therefore the new KG will be equal to the initial KG of 6m plus the rise in G 0.04 = 6.04. So the GM would be the 8m minus the 6.04 which would equal the 1.96m. Would this method also be correct. Thank you great video

That is correct. You need to find final GM , do it eitherway.

It is the height of metacentre from keel. Metacentre is the intersection of center line and new line of force of buoyancy when heeled that is inclined transversely by external forces such as wind or waves.
