If your talking about non binary, it’s more just falling out of the typical gender binary of male or female. So if you don’t identify as a man or woman, your non binary. Many of these people don’t mind being categorized, they just don’t feel they fit into the two options that are given

Gonna be honest, I’m LGBTQ+ and very open to trans people, but a lot of these are just… not actually genders. I’d recommend just googling the main genders to know, the main four I know of are fem, masc, non-binary (basically anything outside of fem or masc, usually something imbetween those two or neither depending on which matches theirself better), and gender fluid which is basically moving between genders. TLDR, a lot of these aren’t really genders and aren’t a good rep of trans people, so don’t take the vid as gospel lol (I haven’t even heard of most of these)

a lot of those types are used by neurodivergent people (usually autistic ppl) bcs they may find it hard to fully understand gender how neurotypicals do and instead find more comfort in identifying as one that reflects what they’re interested in etc

It seems odd to me that people have so much of their identity apparently tied to and wrapped up in their gender. I get that it's a way for people to understand and label (in a way) themselves, but it's a concept I struggle with because for me, I iust....am who I am. I don't feel the need to place myself into particular categories like this.
As a trans person I feel that growing up trans makes you perceive gender differently. Also if you are neurodivergent that can definitely have an effect on how you perceive gender, as neurodivergent people generally perceive the world differently anyway. Most of these are microlabels, though. Also this survey doesn't seem very accurate because of some of the terms they use, and the fact that they put sexualities under a gender category. I just thought I'd explain why some people might use these labels.

I completely agree with confusing personality for gender. I also find it hypocritical that people will say they are a woman because they like female fashion but I thought what you like isn't supposed to be assigned gender.
I know it’s definitely an odd one. I’m personally a pretty masculine woman in that I like societally “guy stuff” but always felt comfortable with my body and being called a woman, so I’ve always assumed transgender men feel uncomfortable with one of those things. But now the new consensus is gender is a societal construct, so someone can feel like a woman or man without wanting to physically be a woman or man. But I always thought the whole point was we were trying to break away from gender being associated with particular hobbies/interests in the first place? Gender is just a way to determine pronouns, everything else about it is just people deciding what stereotypes they want. Thing is, by the time you get someone to respect you for your gender, they know you well enough not to stereotype you, and from there its just about showing respect.
I know people have assumed I must have been non-binary or transgender man because of how I physically portray myself. I feel like we're almost going back to Old world stereotypes of gender, I feel like we're going back to the 1950s that boys have to like trucks and cars and aggressiveness, and girls have to like fashion and pretty things. If you don't follow in line with this, you may be gender fluid. Gender has absolutely nothing to do with personality type, and this is going to be real controversial, but I only believe, as someone who had gender dysphoria in my adolescence, gender is only genitalia and that's it. No one can tell you otherwise, it is not your personality type, it is not your interests, it is not your temperament. Those studies with apes picking toys assigned to their gender? Unfortunately, we can't just trust every scientific study to their word anymore, for the past few decades more and more studies are funded by sources with a lot of money to contort things so they could get a certain result. This is an actual thing, and it's been complained about in the scientific community, because you used to be that scientists on their own would make independent discoveries but now scientists are hired to manipulate the specific experiment to get a certain outcome for their commissioners. Commissioners, usually aristocrats and corporations that want a certain result so they can advertise their product or ideal with the backing of "it was scientifically proven" Honestly quite sad that we can't just blindly trust every single thing deemed a scientific study, because everything is so corporate these days. Not that we shouldn't trust any studies from today, but something I found interesting was not just my own personal experiences questioning my gender identity, and what it resulted to and me discovering why I felt those ways, but also I remember not too long ago there were actually scientists studying quite the opposite almost, I remember even reading in national geographic as a kid about a gorilla that some scientists were following, and they were talking about how fascinating it was that gorillas use random objects the same way a child would use a manufactured toy, and they were following one particular male baby gorilla, who used to build nuts for his piece of wood that he treated like a baby doll, Pretending to be daddy. They even made sure to emphasize that he grew up to be very masculine, which shouldn't matter because playing with dolls has nothing to do with masculinity or femininity, and before anybody talks about evolutionarily speaking men are lesser of the child care but actually men and even males across mammalian species have always been involved in their offsprings lives, the only times they weren't were in tough survival situations, and that's often times why Street cats are never in any sort of romantic relationship which yes animals can be in romantic relationships, it's just it happens a lot more often in captivity because again, less stressful of an environment and not needing to constantly worry about individual survival. That's how we have all these videos of the male cats taking care of his female mate when she gives birth and is very loving and nurturing towards his kittens. This is the natural order of mammalia, especially something we should expect in humans, so there goes another excuse for lousy fathers who don't want to be in their children's lives. By the way my conclusion to that transgender doesn't really exist had nothing to do with these scientific studies, it was just something I found interesting that related to the topic. Everything that has made me be concerned about transgender being so normalized these days was my own experience almost being transgender. I was strongly influenced by our societies ideologies about gender, and if you don't believe me that there are staunch gender stereotypes that are taught to children at a young age even to this day, think about when you go into Target for example. Don't you see a boy's toy section and a girl's toy section? They don't divide toys by toy weapons, baby dolls, toy animals, toy furniture, 12-in dolls, child sized appliance toys, toy vehicles and sensory toys. Each of these categories end up getting sorted out in either the boys section or the girls section, toy weapons and vehicles go in the boys section, and dolls of any kind goes in the girls section. So that being said, even if the child is not being taught gender stereotypes, they are by society and especially when they go into the store. I know that my parents tried very hard to teach me that gender and personality don't go hand in hand, they allowed me to get whatever toy I wanted despite gender norms, but even then, I was not immune to the messages in television and movies, the toy store, friends, family and everywhere else. There were times I got picked on for wearing so-called boy things as a kid, for example I had a pair of Crocs I loved that were red and I remember getting those things that you could plug into the holes when they first came out for crocs? Anyway I had lightning McQueen ones, because I was absolutely obsessed with cars, and I remember there was a boy who had the audacity to make fun of me for it because I was a girl, and also tried to point out that my Crocs were in fact pink, which they were only pink because I wore them so often that they faded. He's telling me that I was wearing boys shoes while simultaneously telling me that they were pink anyway. Of course this isn't the root cause of what caused me to have gender dysphoria but it was the combination of messages I got everywhere that basically I had to either be a girl which meant being obnoxious, caddy, in love with fashion and usually that specifically meant wearing bright pink mini skirts and other things that were considered extremely fashionable for women in the early 2000s, painting your nails, gossiping about boys you like, gossiping in general, being demure, and basically being all those three typical ways of being a girl, I thought that's what being a girl was, and that I didn't identify with any of that. I thought these were feminine attributes, when in fact they were societally enforced ideologies about what gender is, same goes for what made me gravitate towards being masculine, which to me being masculine at the time, due to social messages, meant that I can be basically more myself and not be as catty, have a great sense of humor that if you're a boy is not considered gross so much if you make a crude joke, you can wear functional and better quality clothing, you can like rougher music besides Taylor Swift and Britney Spears and you don't have to try to be hot for everyone else. You can like whatever you want and it was okay, at least for my perspective at the time. To me that's what defines gender because that's what the world defined it for me when I was a kid. It was long before the word transgender was being tossed around like a hot potato like these days, but I remember wanting to change my pronouns back in middle school, but I was scared to because I didn't want people to act like I was weird or something. I in the meantime stuck with the label tomboy, but at heart I felt masculine because in my mind being masculine was a personality type, and being a girl felt disgusting to me. It wasn't until I came to the realization when I was about 11:00 and the realization grew from there, that personality and gender are not associated at all whatsoever, and the only thing that made me any particular gender was my genitalia and not what I liked or disliked. I know a lot of people will disagree with this, but when you detach personality traits from gender, it's actually a whole heck of a lot more freeing. I felt freer identifying as a boy, but once I realized that nothing about me is inherently masculine, I felt so much freer not feeling masculine and just doing whatever the frick I wanted and liking whatever the freak I wanted and not letting society's messages about what gender means contort my idea of reality. I feel more myself and more feminine than ever wearing baggy comfortable clothing that are mismatched, having short hair, wearing no makeup, liking unusually crude and potty mouth humor for my age for a woman I guess, willing to basically just be myself, and not let society even label me as a masculine woman. I'm a woman, I'm me, I'm being myself, I'm not being anyone else. I'm not being masculine, I'm being Aki. I'm being the woman I meant to be, I'm being the real definition of a woman, someone who accepts and embraces her personality, her true personality and essences, and doesn't allow that to change her definition of her own gender
I used to think in that way too, like people just are making up weird genders. But thinking about it more, it is a fact that gender is a social construct, and the scientific community agrees on this, and they have for a long time. So that's probably why it's so easy for all these random weird genders to pop up, because at the end of the day, it is a social construct. So the answer is kind of... yes. You can just come up with anything and say it's a gender. So maybe that in and of itself is not the problem. This is just the nature of social constructs. Maybe the problem is actually our pre-conceived notions that "there can't be that many genders". There are 2 sexes. (Or 3 if you count intersex). But there may as well be infinite genders, because at the end of the day gender is made up by society. If you don't believe me that gender is a social construct, go watch Hunter Avallone's "the truth about transgenders". It's him debunking one of his own, old videos on transgender. He explains how gender is a social construct is a very intuitive and common sense way.

What I believe as a Gay man is that there's a difference between Sex and Gender. There are 3 sexes but there can be any number of genders. And there are actually a lot more chromosome combinations possible than XY (male) and XX (female) Intersex disorders result from abnormalities of the sex chromosomes. Well, technically not even biologically that's correct. It is actually three. An organism can be born as male, female, or as a hermaphrodite. Slugs and mollusks are a good example of being natural hermaphrodites. Reproduction is complex and varied among the plethora of organisms we have on our planet. In humans, the concept of gender identity is just as complex and varied. So the truth is that human beings have the capacity to be born in either of the 3 biological gender categories, with the 3rd usually caused from illness or surgery. However, it is also true that our species has created the concept of gender identity, and thus the idea that there are multiple forms of gender expression. They are two different topics. Saying that all individuals must be restricted to mentally identifying with their biologically assigned gender is an incorrect mentality, because it limits a person's personal freedom. As an American, and a very proud one at that, I know that our country was founded upon the idea of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." In that, all people are allowed to live as they see fit. So to circumvent that by saying people are not allowed to identify with their gender of choosing is essentially going against the founding principles of our country. It's no different than saying someone is not allowed to practice their own religion because clearly science has debunked religion as being wrong. People, at least in this country, have the right to live in the way they chose to live. Just because someone choses to live their life a certain way, does not mean that you have to. You can not participate in something without being hateful or argumentative about it. Lastly, I'd like to just point this out - - our society is evolving right now. We also have a lot of very serious problems happening with our world. Everything from climate change to corrupt politicians to disease to war. It's honestly insane what we are dealing with right now. Our combined efforts are much better spent on tackling real issues, than worrying about what someone thinks about their genitals in their personal time. You all would actually be doing more of a service to yourselves and to the society you live in by focusing on how you can live well. Wasting your time worrying about such trivial matters only makes our global problems worse. So try focusing on what actually effects you and your legacy instead.
I know the pansexual joke is funny, BUT let me explain it’s true meaning, pansexual is when you feel attraction to everyone, not everyone but you like trans-men, trans-women, cis-men, cis-women, and Non-binary folk. The difference between pansexual and bisexual is bisexual people only feel extracted to cis people.
There is a very important and more common gender identity than you’d expect that wasn’t added. It is called gender faunet/ faun (I don’t know which is the actual name) but it is under the gender fluid umbrella and is where u feel different genders but you never feel fully feminine and there is another called gender flux which is the same but never fully masculine. Please don’t hate these terms as people don’t choose to be them but they choose to have a name for it to feel more confident and complete. There are definitely not 2 genders and in my opinion there are most likely more than 3 too. And also to answer your question, gender is actually very fluid! I personally identify as nonbinary, however, I accept all pronouns. Though there are some days I prefer certain pronouns over others or different presentations of my gender. And a fun fact, a quick google search shows that some people identify as a Jojosexual. Their definition is: Jojosexual is the sexual and gender identity in which you are sexually attracted and/or identify as a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure character.

Gonna be honest, I’m LGBTQ+ and very open to trans people, but a lot of these are just… not actually genders. I’d recommend just googling the main genders to know, the main four I know of are fem, masc, non-binary (basically anything outside of fem or masc, usually something imbetween those two or neither depending on which matches theirself better), and gender fluid which is basically moving between genders.
TLDR, a lot of these aren’t really genders and aren’t a good rep of trans people, so don’t take the vid as gospel lol (I haven’t even heard of most of these)

It seems odd to me that people have so much of their identity apparently tied to and wrapped up in their gender. I get that it's a way for people to understand and label (in a way) themselves, but it's a concept I struggle with because for me, I iust....am who I am. I don't feel the need to place myself into particular categories like this.
As a trans person I feel that growing up trans makes you perceive gender differently. Also if you are neurodivergent that can definitely have an effect on how you perceive gender, as neurodivergent people generally perceive the world differently anyway. Most of these are microlabels, though. Also this survey doesn't seem very accurate because of some of the terms they use, and the fact that they put sexualities under a gender category. I just thought I'd explain why some people might use these labels.

I completely agree with confusing personality for gender. I also find it hypocritical that people will say they are a woman because they like female fashion but I thought what you like isn't supposed to be assigned gender.
I know it’s definitely an odd one. I’m personally a pretty masculine woman in that I like societally “guy stuff” but always felt comfortable with my body and being called a woman, so I’ve always assumed transgender men feel uncomfortable with one of those things. But now the new consensus is gender is a societal construct, so someone can feel like a woman or man without wanting to physically be a woman or man. But I always thought the whole point was we were trying to break away from gender being associated with particular hobbies/interests in the first place? Gender is just a way to determine pronouns, everything else about it is just people deciding what stereotypes they want. Thing is, by the time you get someone to respect you for your gender, they know you well enough not to stereotype you, and from there its just about showing respect.

I know people have assumed I must have been non-binary or transgender man because of how I physically portray myself. I feel like we're almost going back to Old world stereotypes of gender, I feel like we're going back to the 1950s that boys have to like trucks and cars and aggressiveness, and girls have to like fashion and pretty things. If you don't follow in line with this, you may be gender fluid. Gender has absolutely nothing to do with personality type, and this is going to be real controversial, but I only believe, as someone who had gender dysphoria in my adolescence, gender is only genitalia and that's it. No one can tell you otherwise, it is not your personality type, it is not your interests, it is not your temperament. Those studies with apes picking toys assigned to their gender? Unfortunately, we can't just trust every scientific study to their word anymore, for the past few decades more and more studies are funded by sources with a lot of money to contort things so they could get a certain result. This is an actual thing, and it's been complained about in the scientific community, because you used to be that scientists on their own would make independent discoveries but now scientists are hired to manipulate the specific experiment to get a certain outcome for their commissioners. Commissioners, usually aristocrats and corporations that want a certain result so they can advertise their product or ideal with the backing of "it was scientifically proven"
Honestly quite sad that we can't just blindly trust every single thing deemed a scientific study, because everything is so corporate these days. Not that we shouldn't trust any studies from today, but something I found interesting was not just my own personal experiences questioning my gender identity, and what it resulted to and me discovering why I felt those ways, but also I remember not too long ago there were actually scientists studying quite the opposite almost, I remember even reading in national geographic as a kid about a gorilla that some scientists were following, and they were talking about how fascinating it was that gorillas use random objects the same way a child would use a manufactured toy, and they were following one particular male baby gorilla, who used to build nuts for his piece of wood that he treated like a baby doll, Pretending to be daddy.
They even made sure to emphasize that he grew up to be very masculine, which shouldn't matter because playing with dolls has nothing to do with masculinity or femininity, and before anybody talks about evolutionarily speaking men are lesser of the child care but actually men and even males across mammalian species have always been involved in their offsprings lives, the only times they weren't were in tough survival situations, and that's often times why Street cats are never in any sort of romantic relationship which yes animals can be in romantic relationships, it's just it happens a lot more often in captivity because again, less stressful of an environment and not needing to constantly worry about individual survival. That's how we have all these videos of the male cats taking care of his female mate when she gives birth and is very loving and nurturing towards his kittens. This is the natural order of mammalia, especially something we should expect in humans, so there goes another excuse for lousy fathers who don't want to be in their children's lives.
By the way my conclusion to that transgender doesn't really exist had nothing to do with these scientific studies, it was just something I found interesting that related to the topic. Everything that has made me be concerned about transgender being so normalized these days was my own experience almost being transgender. I was strongly influenced by our societies ideologies about gender, and if you don't believe me that there are staunch gender stereotypes that are taught to children at a young age even to this day, think about when you go into Target for example. Don't you see a boy's toy section and a girl's toy section? They don't divide toys by toy weapons, baby dolls, toy animals, toy furniture, 12-in dolls, child sized appliance toys, toy vehicles and sensory toys. Each of these categories end up getting sorted out in either the boys section or the girls section, toy weapons and vehicles go in the boys section, and dolls of any kind goes in the girls section. So that being said, even if the child is not being taught gender stereotypes, they are by society and especially when they go into the store. I know that my parents tried very hard to teach me that gender and personality don't go hand in hand, they allowed me to get whatever toy I wanted despite gender norms, but even then, I was not immune to the messages in television and movies, the toy store, friends, family and everywhere else. There were times I got picked on for wearing so-called boy things as a kid, for example I had a pair of Crocs I loved that were red and I remember getting those things that you could plug into the holes when they first came out for crocs? Anyway I had lightning McQueen ones, because I was absolutely obsessed with cars, and I remember there was a boy who had the audacity to make fun of me for it because I was a girl, and also tried to point out that my Crocs were in fact pink, which they were only pink because I wore them so often that they faded. He's telling me that I was wearing boys shoes while simultaneously telling me that they were pink anyway. Of course this isn't the root cause of what caused me to have gender dysphoria but it was the combination of messages I got everywhere that basically I had to either be a girl which meant being obnoxious, caddy, in love with fashion and usually that specifically meant wearing bright pink mini skirts and other things that were considered extremely fashionable for women in the early 2000s, painting your nails, gossiping about boys you like, gossiping in general, being demure, and basically being all those three typical ways of being a girl, I thought that's what being a girl was, and that I didn't identify with any of that. I thought these were feminine attributes, when in fact they were societally enforced ideologies about what gender is, same goes for what made me gravitate towards being masculine, which to me being masculine at the time, due to social messages, meant that I can be basically more myself and not be as catty, have a great sense of humor that if you're a boy is not considered gross so much if you make a crude joke, you can wear functional and better quality clothing, you can like rougher music besides Taylor Swift and Britney Spears and you don't have to try to be hot for everyone else. You can like whatever you want and it was okay, at least for my perspective at the time. To me that's what defines gender because that's what the world defined it for me when I was a kid. It was long before the word transgender was being tossed around like a hot potato like these days, but I remember wanting to change my pronouns back in middle school, but I was scared to because I didn't want people to act like I was weird or something. I in the meantime stuck with the label tomboy, but at heart I felt masculine because in my mind being masculine was a personality type, and being a girl felt disgusting to me. It wasn't until I came to the realization when I was about 11:00 and the realization grew from there, that personality and gender are not associated at all whatsoever, and the only thing that made me any particular gender was my genitalia and not what I liked or disliked. I know a lot of people will disagree with this, but when you detach personality traits from gender, it's actually a whole heck of a lot more freeing. I felt freer identifying as a boy, but once I realized that nothing about me is inherently masculine, I felt so much freer not feeling masculine and just doing whatever the frick I wanted and liking whatever the freak I wanted and not letting society's messages about what gender means contort my idea of reality. I feel more myself and more feminine than ever wearing baggy comfortable clothing that are mismatched, having short hair, wearing no makeup, liking unusually crude and potty mouth humor for my age for a woman I guess, willing to basically just be myself, and not let society even label me as a masculine woman. I'm a woman, I'm me, I'm being myself, I'm not being anyone else. I'm not being masculine, I'm being Aki. I'm being the woman I meant to be, I'm being the real definition of a woman, someone who accepts and embraces her personality, her true personality and essences, and doesn't allow that to change her definition of her own gender

I used to think in that way too, like people just are making up weird genders. But thinking about it more, it is a fact that gender is a social construct, and the scientific community agrees on this, and they have for a long time. So that's probably why it's so easy for all these random weird genders to pop up, because at the end of the day, it is a social construct. So the answer is kind of... yes. You can just come up with anything and say it's a gender. So maybe that in and of itself is not the problem. This is just the nature of social constructs. Maybe the problem is actually our pre-conceived notions that "there can't be that many genders". There are 2 sexes. (Or 3 if you count intersex). But there may as well be infinite genders, because at the end of the day gender is made up by society. If you don't believe me that gender is a social construct, go watch Hunter Avallone's "the truth about transgenders". It's him debunking one of his own, old videos on transgender. He explains how gender is a social construct is a very intuitive and common sense way.

It’s nice that you ask! You can’t really say that you can be what gender you “want” to be. It’s not something you choose. There could be only one person in the whole world that realizes that they identify as one specific gender. But it’s not something that they chose. It’s a tough topic, but this is a not so deep explanation:)

It's no different than saying someone is not allowed to practice their own religion because clearly science has debunked religion as being wrong. People, at least in this country, have the right to live in the way they chose to live. Just because someone choses to live their life a certain way, does not mean that you have to. You can not participate in something without being hateful or argumentative about it.
Lastly, I'd like to just point this out - - our society is evolving right now. We also have a lot of very serious problems happening with our world. Everything from climate change to corrupt politicians to disease to war. It's honestly insane what we are dealing with right now. Our combined efforts are much better spent on tackling real issues, than worrying about what someone thinks about their genitals in their personal time. You all would actually be doing more of a service to yourselves and to the society you live in by focusing on how you can live well. Wasting your time worrying about such trivial matters only makes our global problems worse. So try focusing on what actually effects you and your legacy instead.

There is a very important and more common gender identity than you’d expect that wasn’t added. It is called gender faunet/ faun (I don’t know which is the actual name) but it is under the gender fluid umbrella and is where u feel different genders but you never feel fully feminine and there is another called gender flux which is the same but never fully masculine. Please don’t hate these terms as people don’t choose to be them but they choose to have a name for it to feel more confident and complete. There are definitely not 2 genders and in my opinion there are most likely more than 3 too. And also to answer your question, gender is actually very fluid! I personally identify as nonbinary, however, I accept all pronouns. Though there are some days I prefer certain pronouns over others or different presentations of my gender.
And a fun fact, a quick google search shows that some people identify as a Jojosexual. Their definition is: Jojosexual is the sexual and gender identity in which you are sexually attracted and/or identify as a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure character.
