I grew up in Damascus...Played all sports...Basketball was tough to get really good at because of lack of good playground ball... We were in the gym practicing drills, etc...U had to go to down county to get good pickup games...We played Lance Cole Summer League in Frederick, Co.... These kids now ARE AWESOME...They have size and skills and Represent DHS So Incredibly Well.....SO VERY PROUD of them!!!!
@@quincyhyde8760 = Its actually 50 50 if anything, Baltimore have talent in both private and public. And the DMV recruits Baltimore talent heavily for privates and AAU. Baltimore teams are mostly home grown, where DMV have kids from everywhere especially the privates. Baltimore is a part of DMV history period, UM - Juan Dixon 2002 and GeorgeTown Wingate/ Lewis 1984, Baltimore players was major factor in them winning a championship. As well as Dunbar Baltimore beating Dematha back in the early 70s.
All DMVs best talent is in private schools… Baltimore takes the public school system

thats cuz all the talent is playing for PVI, St Johns, Dematha ETC. Baltimore best kids play public
