I've been saying it for years and I'll continue to say it: radios are extremely underrated in this game, and not using them means you're missing out on a feature that can make this game even more dynamic than it is. For example, in situations where you don't know if your mates radio battery died or if he's just been killed - instead of your mate telling you he's been killed and giving precise info on where is killer is over discord. Or situations where radio silence is required so you don't alert nearby players. Imagine the extra adrenaline you'd get for fear of the unknown! Wish more youtubers would ditch discord completely and have some fun with radios
The point is that almost all other players you fight use discord so you have a disadvantage so especially if you are not insanely good at this game. For me as a solo i never use radio’s but would like to at some point .
@@silentwolvesnld8831 you're right, you do get put at a disadvantage because other players use discord. That's why I think youtubers should be using radios to encourage all the other players to use them. Obviously it's not that important but it would be cool
I have no idea why everyone shits on them and leaves them. it's because they all cheat and use discord. Radios are one of the best features in this game. What we really need is crank up radios and shake lights.
Is there anyway devs can ban party chat in game ?? I love the idea of using radios. Literally never met a player on console who uses them tho

DayZ is a TRUE gem.. and interactions like this are what make it so special. You can be a real menace if you want to, or you can be kind to people and maybe make a new friend. The choice is yours with zero consequences in either direction. It's exactly like the shopping cart theory. There is ZERO punishment for not putting your cart in the cart collector, and zero reward for doing so. It's all about what type of person you want to be. DayZ exposes who you really are, and you don't even realize it's happening. Gosh dang it, this video is wholesome AF. With the exception of Crazy Chris, this is hands down my favorite of all your videos. Keep on keepin' on Paul. Love ya bud.

honestly, probably one of the best DayZ videos ive seen. when your buddy got gunned down with radio in hand...i literally shouted NO! i felt that.
When a "perfect day" is somehow possible in a post-apocalyptic world full of zombies, yet seems impossible in the 2020 real world.
I have never in my life left a comment on any UA-cam video before, however, this is by the far the most beautiful thing I have ever watched. Thank you for this wonderful hour. Loved it.

Your a killing machine the amount of times iv heard you say you can't shoot, honestly iv saw you kill so many players I wouldn't even have noticed the they were there, usualy by the time I notice other players iv already been shot. Love the vids

Crazy how these encounters can change people’s lives you know. Any encounter I’ve had in DAYZ that was longer than 30 minutes, I remember running with a dude for an hour, gave him so much stuff and I was about to give him food when he shot me in the back while I was in inventory. While I was lying dead he said I actually feel really bad.

Man, I love your Videos!!! I've been basically binging them like crazy for the past week or so and not in any sort of chronological order which has now come to light as the best way to view them. I've seen a few of the "lights out" and other videos you've done recently with Sour and Muller and thought this is group gels very well like, where does it all come from. This video was a great little adventure. Sucked when Scotty went tits up but I loved his idea to leave the radio behind for Simon, Brilliant! Then he gets gunned down and then Simon pops back in. The banter was great and seemed like you might have made Simon's day when you confirmed in the end that he was running with TheRunningManZ on his B-Day!
But, the topper for me was at the end of the video where you were solo again and happened upon a survivor asking for a gun to minutes later reveal himself as none other than... Muller!!! What??, that was so cool to discover the beginning of a friendship that led to the more recent videos I've been watching. I was not expecting that. Talk about 1st impressions, sweet Odin's Raven you go f-ing apesh*t Die Hard John McClane on their ass (with a few of them being other pros as well) and then bug. I'm sure you didn't realize that was going to be the start of some future kickass team-ups and adventures with you, Muller, and Sour?
Don't know that I'll ever get the chance to Run with ya but I'm sure It'd be fun for me, lol not so much you at this point of my DayZ PVP experience.

Felt that, when scotty died....helped a seemingly nice guy the other day. Brena was blowing up with spawn campers; so I taught him to fish and we lived off the land for a little bit. He went in to get some water...immediately shot down. Top guy. Love DayZ for the friends ya meet, just playing!

Awesome video as always. Pro Tip: Fat is 10x better than the steaks for food energy. You won't get any water from it, but you won't need food for a very long time with just 1 cooked piece of fat. I basically never cook steaks now, just need a canteen for water and fat for food. Nothing beats it.

Why only take the meat when you have finished cutting the animal?
The fat is at least 5 times better.
I did take the fat, you just didn't see me taking the fat as I had to muck around to get the space to take it and I cut some of the messing around out as i'd done all the way through, you can see the fat in my inventory later. I don't think I had a square of space 2x 2 wide and so I picked up the meat and then had a sort out of my inventory.

I never take the meat, if there is fat.
With two pieces of fat, you can play for a lot of hours without looking for any other food.
The only time I ignore fat is when I can not know where it's coming from.
I am always 100% sure when I eat it.
@@TEXTMANNEN on this server there is no human fat and I think fat gives less calories. But there is a fade as I pick up the 3rd bit of meat, it’s just not shown.

But in reality, there are more calories in fat than in protein, and so it has been on Dayz as well, for me and everyone I know.
All the servers I have played on, you quickly get hungry again with meat. But fat and canned bacon are the things that saturate the character the most.
Then there must be fish, jam and pickles.
Then comes meat and beans as a good food source in DayZ.
