I like these theory crafting videos, nice job! Btw I think edda has another advantage over cocoa (maybe it's small, I would have to test more specially in pvp) but liquor if I'm not mistaken reduces movement on those tiles too so it's kind of control too and in tower is really useful and in pvp it is too, being able to restrict movement is kind of huge by itself.
@@richard1508 I'm pretty sure that it's not skipping turn. it's probably a case when the character get a move down debuff combined with liquor tile, then he is stuck on said tile
@@richard1508 It doesn't skip the opponent's turn, it just makes them take their turn last. The best use of this is to combine with warhorn letting you have 2 turns of insane damage by having boss take their turn last
On full magic teams, you'd still want Edda. With Simona, Nungal, and Beryl, Edda really makes them all slap. It's a one turn setup, and they all drop bombs. Cocoa is also amazing, but don't feel bad if you got Edda to buff magic teams, because she's still the best at that.
I have both of them and their uses are really different to actually compare them I think, because Edda is a buffer/debuffer sub dps, when Cocoa is a buffer tank healer. Don't under estimate the damage Edda can do, specially if her engraving is the one who give her one buff for each skill or attacks she uses. She can get 3 in one turn and gain more passively with her extra attacks, what end with she doing a respectable damage. Also she can control the tempo of battle really well with the slow in the barrel + book trinket changing the turn order in your favor (this helped me to a lot of times to finish the mission in the last round jajaja 😅) or apply a lot of debuff whit her weapon and bottle. This is specially useful for characters like Dantalion or Faycal who wants debuffs on the enemy to do more damage and also dispel 2 buff from the enemy at the same time. She also can be a really good bait because she is really difficult to kill when she is close to her box with the damage reduction she have in her passive and specially magic with the magic defense buff she can give to all the team. I have mine with the tarot who give her 20 damage reduction and she end with 60 damage reduction when close to her box or any other things in the map. I really thing their uses are specific enough to have both of them in your account, and the best is to use both of them together, specially if your damage dealers are magic.
All good points! I never really tried to maximize her own damage output as I use world tarot to reduce her cooldowns so I have her standing still on her off turns.
Nice info! Thanks. Too bad I have them on separate accounts. In your opinion which account is the best to play with: Innana w/ LilyWill Edda w/ Nungal Cocoa w/ Nungal Gloria w/ Simona
as a unit i think cocoa is better because she can fill both tank and a healer role. but i think there's currently no better tank than her so maybe using her as a buff/debuffer is a bit of waste? especially if your damage source is ranged unit who stay in the back most of the time, but for specific strat i can see it works.
In boss fights, the guard/cover skill usually isn't needed, so can replace the vul debuff skill with it. Cocoa still can do her job tanking while also providing all these buffs. I'm using nungal who stays further back, but other magic dps heroes usually have a range of 2-3 and cocoa should still be able to buff them without needing to move around too much.
when edda is shooting people 2 times on her off turn as follow ups 5 squares away... you sir will be singing a very thankful tune about how amazing she is.
It is possible that names are pronounced differently in other countries where the written letters are actually spoken. It is unnecessary to criticize pronunciation when the game was not originally created with English grammar or voices. Wanneer je enkel alleen Engels spreekt en autistisch bent😂
Type cocoa in google for the English pronunciation. Making a video in English then pronouncing the names in a broken dialect just because the Japanese or Chinese VA does it is just /facepalm. I’ve long since lost hope in the education system.
@@Fayde2BLAQ you must be American if you think words don’t have different context and pronunciations in different countries. These are called heterophonic names / words. To come in with so much condescension and be this ignorant is crazy
The character introduces herself that way, so that’s what the name is :) I doubt cocoa is American so why should her name be pronounced in an American accent?
You had to absolutely cripple Edda in order for cocoa to even compare. Edda can make you kill trial bosses on turn one before the boss can even attack. Meanwhile cocoa can’t even start reaching that until 2 or 3 turns. So. TLDR. If you shoot edda in both of her legs, and choke her to death. Cocoa is a better buffer
Cocoa doesn’t even compare to the damage output Edda creates. In your own example. Edda pops off every three turns. Cocoa takes three turns to set up. So even if they are exactly equal.. Edda pops off twice in 3 turns. And cocoa pops off twice in 6 turns. In a longer battle. Eddas buffs MASSIVELY outperform cocoa
Cocoa takes 2 turns to setup, but after that you don’t lose her buffs, she will rotate all 3. So after the first 2 turns nungal will always have crit buff/crit dmg buff, and dmg III and the boss will always have vulnerable debuff. Doesn’t take anymore time to setup after the first 2 turns.
In summary, Coco better magic buffer if you only have one magic dps. Greather than one magic dps, Edda all the way?
In general, yes this is correct

The reality is you probably run both. The real discussion is Coco vs Inanna.
id take Inanna over Edda every single time. Thats not the real question btw. its do you take Edda over Tair.
Idk, if I had 2 spots and all three of them, I’d bring cocoa + inanna 90% of the time
@@LockeD_wotv I probably split them up across the two teams.
Edda is better for this hyper specific magic team. Cocoa is better in every other situation.

why not all 3 inanna cocoa and edda lol
How did cocoa get so much more hp, in 0:19 she have 6500k hp but when the battle start she have 7500k hp?
HP Buff doesn't include in Character stat
They apply after u deploy them
Just try equip and unequip your weapon/Trinket or Tarot
@@manyblock4192Would be awesome to see those numbers in hero managment for QOL
why not both? :-D
If you have the slots for it yes, but if you only have 1 slot for a buffer who do you bring?
