Back in the early 2010s I took my mom to see Michael Crawford perform at the United Center in Chicago. He no longer performed as the Phantom. My mom was so pleasantly surprised. Glad I took her to see him live on stage!!

You're right about the body shape/diaphragm, but I've seen him with more weight on that frame and with less weight. Recently, it's less--he's very trim. In this video---rather more weight.
