Hi there I LOVE your channel. I have a question sort of related to this: I do NOT care about the depth requirements, however, I am interested in the deco theory of it all. MAYBE I might want to do 20meter dive but go into deco limits for photos on a wreck can we just do the theory, part or is there something more like that?
Hello Mike. The PADI tec40 course is designed for that very purpose. You learn deco theory, but the depth limit is 130 feet., the same as recreational diving. You can take it as a crossover course version where you use mostly recreational equipment but learn the deco theory. The way the course is structured is that you do not have to dive over 90 feet during the course. It allows you up to 15 minutes of deco.
