listening to this, it hit me like a brick wall to the face... i recently found an old, dusty picture book at my grandparents house, my grandfather is quite ill and my grandmother had died when i was very young... i have 1 or 2 memories of her, and they were sweet, but i feel with each year i forget more, i forget the sound of her voice, i forget her face, i just lose grip on her... but when i found that picture book, and wiped away the dust that had layed dormant for many years, i saw pictures... pictures of her, and of me, and of my father that left us long ago, and of my mother and him happy with me. it broke me. i had never remembered a time they had been happy together, with me, and suddenly here it was, a picture of a memory i always longed for... listening to this reminds me of that, and its one of those few things that can bring a man to tears. as always, love what you do, keep bringing joy to us small folks :)
