He should've taken Chris backstage and dusted him there - no excuse to behave so undignified in mixed-company. here's why we should care: black people have no economy no military power no agency in the world - look at where you're going to school. blacks didn't build that institution, they did. Until we don't have to look to them for world class education, world class systems, until we don't need them to include us then we'd better care. Will has chosen to put himself out there. His choice. His wife has CHOSEN to air all their dirty laundry. Being in the industry is tough but he should have tougher skin - it's not like he doesn't know Chris - he could've easily taken this up with him in private which is what should've happened.
Hmm. You have a strong point about the educational power. But I agree and believe he has tougher skin. But all I’m saying is that us as the audience should not be surprised at a reaction. When peoples soft spots are touched it can cause a negative reaction. But I get it maybe they shouldn’t be opening up that much if they’re not ready for the negatives. Above all violence is never an answer and will should’ve called him aside since they’re both acquaintances. You’re absolutely right !
Lmaooo if this is actually real, then they're both in the wrong. I think everyone should know that. That 'joke' went too far and Will smith lost his temper obviously. What I actually find amusing is how some people pretend like they haven't made any of these two mistakes in their life, we're only lucky that the whole world didn't watch us do it. I have done things I didn't want to do countless times and felt so shitty after but I just couldn't undo what had been done in that moment. Imagine my whole life was judged based on that. We're humans ffs but it is what it is. We have to bear the consequences for our action. It's so easy to judge until it's you in that very situation. Our flesh is hypocritical in nature and there's nothing we can do about that. Another thing that bugs me is everyone one saying 'it's the Oscar's, you shouldn't do that there'. Violence is violence whether on live television, in school, at work or in your bedroom. This also shows how the world views emotional abuse as 'a joke'. I mean as long as no one throws a punch at you, you'll be fine right?. Same thing applies to mental health vs physical health. As long as you're not on a hospital bed taking a bunch of pills just smile, act in your best behaviour and don't be too sensitive 😀
It was Lupita for me the whole night 🤣🤣
That was what I felt too

Bro you’re smart! The world won’t look at it that way.
Fair enough 🙏🏾
He should tell that to August though before making fool of himself at the Oscar. Will Smith is insecure.
