I saw the video of your journey since first diagnosed with your gene. It's incredible to see how God brought you peace and how you trusted him throughout it all. It's insane how we can be so worried or anxious about things we can't control. Your story shows how you left it to God and let him do his will and his will was this- able to live without a stomach. Praise the Lord! Let us know how you've been doing lately. I hope all is well and will pray you can continue living a fulfilling and beautiful life 🙏
God bless .I had aspirated pneumonia twice. The last one hurt to breathe. Coughing out the yellow liquid was awful. I had full gastrectomy Dec.14 2015. I can’t imagine riding more than a few miles. Thank you for sharing your life experience Dan. F cancer!!! Congratulations! I was writing while watching. I think I will get a bike after watching this. You make it look so easy. Which I know it’s not. Gaining weight is so difficult. I went down to 128 pounds after surgery and chemotherapy. I was 175 lbs before gastric cancer. I got up to 144 lbs. These past months I went back down to 128 lbs. I am slowly gaining some weight. I am 133 lbs now. It took two months though. Once again thanks Dan. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Wow! Thanks for sharing! I highly recommend a bicycle it’s so fun and is an incredible way to explore. Coughing up that yellow liquid is like getting lava into your lungs! But you and I know what it’s like, keep it up my man! Maybe one day we can do a ride together 👊🏽
@@oyitaable Peanut butter or any nut butter. High calorie smoothies. Low sugar and low carbohydrates. My wife stocked up on Trader Joe’s Banana & Almond butter protein smoothie with coconut water, pea protein. It’s 320 calories per serving. Total sugar 12 grams. Total carbs 19 g. I drink 1/2 servings at a time with a spoonful of peanut butter. I get reflux from a popular meal replacement drink I won’t mention. Also don’t skip meals. I ate lots of fattening food the last 2 months. French fries, McDonalds and other fast foods. Not healthy, but I gained a few pounds. Good luck.
@@K9sf @oyitaable everything Mr. Roberts said here, eat what you can when you can. I leveled out, but it took me a few years to get to where I am today. From the online community it seems to take about 3-4 years.
Hey Steven, how are you? Can you tell me if you keep your weight without stomach? I saw one video you tell ous have difficult to eat carbs and sugars so you don´t eat nothing? Just more protein and veggies? Hugs from Portugal
Hey brother, I’m so sorry it took so long to get back to you. I’m now almost 10 years out and I’m pretty consistently 175 lbs if I eat well. When I busy I lose a tone of weight really fast. I definitely have to limit my carbs and sugar because it spikes my blood sugar and then insulin kicks in and drops my blood sugar. It makes me yo-yo up and down all day. I try to limit carbs, but mix in mostly protein, fruits and veggies. Hope that helps! Much love brother!
@@Dangarangg omg you are fine??? You live without stomach I can't believe 😲😲😲😲 brother I had anterior vagotomy After I got many symptoms I think I'm soon die 😭😭😭😭
