Lala ngoxolo Qhawe. Sohlala Siku Khumbula. Bosso 4 life. I remember dancing to the Highlander song after Bosso won one of the major trophies some time back. Wow. RIP legend.
Rest in Peace Baba Manatsa, this music awakens memories for those who were kids around 1980, Harare ichiri Harare. What a legacy, one Mhofela in a billion 👏
I grew up in a very small mining ⛏️ town and our small mine house 🏠 was next to the 🍺 beer hall and these songs were played over and over again it brought all the memories ndichirikuisa makumboese Oneside of my shorts 🩳 kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Mudhara Zexie is the first local musician who caught my attention among those who played multi instruments after a dose of the talented one band exponents like Taurai Uzumba, Jackson "Sinyoro" Chinembiri and Ngwaru Mapundu. I was very much a kid but his domination of the airwaves with that Chipo Chiroorwa number and later with the instrumental beat of Chitima Nditakure. I fell in love with his music instantly and later crossed the floor to Olver Mtukudzi after the release of Ndipeiwo Zano in 1979, not knowing Tuku was a talent nurtured by this great man who was to later have his son marry into the Tuku clan.
RIP baba Manatsa, thank you so much for such a wonderful recording. To amai Manatsa and the rest of the family find comfort in The Lord's loving heart and arms
