Tenho tantas lembranças boas de minha infância por causa das músicas dela. Ela contribuiu pra tornar minha infância e adolescência de minhas irmãs melhor. Fez um excelente trabalho!
Oh, wow, so sorry to hear about her mom. I know they were always very close (as far as I know) and Debbie has stayed such down to earth - in general, but especially compared to other celebrities who rose to stardom as teenagers. So I think her mom may have a lot of do with the fact that she stayed so grounded.
One thing I must say is that Debbie Gibson really has ALWAYS been an LGBTQ supporter, which is not typical for gay icons. Just look at Bette Midler, huge gay icon, yet when asked by Larry King in 2003 (!) about same sex marriage, she somewhat dodged the question instead of giving a resounding YES, I'M ALL FOR IT (you can look it up, the interview is here on UA-cam). The same goes for Diana Ross. Another gay icon, yet in an 1999 interview for The Advocate she also dodged this question. Also Taylor Dayne, in an interview for Gay Savannah in 2005 (!) she also did not say she was in favor of gay marriage but talked abozt how in the eyes of Kabbala marriage is between a man and a woman. Fortunately all three ladies have now said they are in favor of gay marriage (hey, I guess better late than never) BUT Debbie Gibson has always been a supporter! Always! So thank you for that!
Back in 1988 I took my nieces and some of their school friends to their first two concerts. These kids were all 12 to 15 years old. I was 28 at the time. On July 3rd they saw Tiffany at the Universal Amphitheatre. One month later on August 3rd they saw Debbie Gibson at the Greek Theater. I wasn't a fan of these artists but the kids had a great time. Both shows were OK, but I must admit the Debbie Gibson show was a bit better. Nice to see her back on the road.
@@robertstephens156 I have not been to LA for ages. I always love Debbie. She wrote her own songs, but when she was young her stage outfits were ridiculous, eventually she changed her clothes...
Wow she still looks great..amazing.♥️
She still has her original dancers and staff! It would be nice if all employers were this loyal! 😊
It says a lot about her as a person!
That means she's a good person.
that's loyal and you know she is a great person to be around with and be friends with a treasure
A bunch of 50-year-olds dancing? Are you sure? Because loyalty is one thing but practicality is another...
@@keepingitreal5533you have a problem with 50 year olds dancing? You can be 50 and an amazing dancer or 20 and dance like 💩.
Thanks So Much Major Deb Head with a Metalhead Background lol Love Debbie was in the D.G.I.F. Back in the Late 80s into the early 2000s
She's still so beautiful!!😊😊

"Only in my Dreams" was a mantra for young girls in the 80's.
Debbie looks great! Is she coming to Las Vegas?

Damn she's hot.
yes! 🧡🌈
I can see
Good interview, but if he’s a superfan it would be nice if he’d stop calling the song ‘Only In Your Dreams’.
