Digging Water Well By Hand

Digging Water Well By Hand, using an old method called sand bucket or baler. Used 4' casing with 10' of screen at the bottom. Total depth 47' and pump setting at 37'. First time ever doing this as i am 23' to water, watch me mess up and then succeed.

i know the difficulties of doing this aswell, ive drilled 2 of my own wells (only about 25ft) but still know how almost everything that can go wrong does and you cant plan for that. I was sticking in a new suction line into my first well, and a rock, sised the exact diameter of the pipe, got wedged in the casing (as its only about 1 inch wide) and stopped me from being able to lower the suction line down, this took me over a day to get out with a borescope camera right at the pipe joint, and several old bent coat hangers to form a hook

Yeah, I follow my gut feeling and it usually plays out how I think in can go wrong it does. Thanks for comment
