Really great video. Very wonderful. I have spent several nights in these same hides. Experiencing wonderful moments with wild animals. The last time was a week ago. Welcome to a new filming trip to Finland.
Thank you so much! :) It's such a cool place, only been there that one time! I would love to go there during summer or fall, to get another looking scenery. Glad to hear that you had some great encounters :)
Very well made video Anders 👍 I have been there many times in the summer so I know how thin those walls are, zero insulation 🙂. Did you only shoot video or did you also take photos?
854 views????? I thought i was watching a national geographic movie. Wow! Great story telling, amazing shots and great timing with the music. I'm waiting on my sony 600mm lens to be delivered today and i hope i can experience something like this at some point in time.
Thank you so much 😊🙏 it was truly an amazing experience 🐻 Gratz on the 600mm - you won’t be disappointed! A really great piece of equipment 🔭👌 I like to use it with the 2x converter to get a 1200mm reach 😊
Not really - I mention some of it in other videos (ex about how to get smooth and steady footage), but haven’t made a dedicated one for that.. maybe I should do so 🤔😊thanks btw 🙏
Most of the shots is actually shot on 600mm and even on 200mm.. those tight ones is with the 2x tele converter attached - so 1200mm when it was a bit further away - but I think the closest we had it in daylight was like 15-20 meters or something like that. That was pretty insane 😅
Hello Anders. I'm curious to know if any type of bait or attractant is used in these hides. I say this because in most hides in Finland they usually do it that way. Thanks.
For some odd reason, many times the last day seems to be the one that really pays off. Having said that, getting the wolverine footage must make the whole trip worth it.
That is so true, but it makes up for a perfect storyline, right 😅 .. that wolverine was such a surprise. We did see tracks of it in the snow, but never thought we would actually see it.. and in daylight 🤯
Great Video Anders!! What an experience too - loved it all - soundtrack, scenery, backing music & of course the bear footage!
thank you :D it was an amazing experience. Still shaking just thinking about that bear haha
I'm just back from Taiga and I got some amazing shots of these wonderful creatures. Great video.
That’s so cool. I guess it’s another scenery this time of the year 😅
Fantastic video!
Glad you liked it!
One of finest and most genuine wildlife films ive ever seen. To have such a magnificent animal that close must have been chilling.

Jeg vil afsted igen, helt sikkert! - måske senere på året når der er godt gang i ungerne også. Måske du skal med? 😅😊
Do you have a video on the settings you use for your filming? Looks awesome! Subscribed!

@@andersaastrup absolutely thank you!
Only 600mm? How far was the bear in the forest during the slow motion shots? You could be jealous. Great work!!!

@@andersaastrup Astonishing! P.S.: Out of pure curiosity: How much does 3 days in the hut cost?
@richardfink7666 I actually don’t know 😅🤷♂️ check out bearcentre.fi 👌

Hi :) Yes they do use small pieces of meat - not something I would categorize as a meal, but more like a little snack.
