I don't know if anyone's noticed it, but except for a fleeting glimpse of Jem's floating head, you don't see her singing once as Jem in this video but as JERRICA. WOW. IN FRONT OF MINX AND RIO.
+comic book reviewer However, most of the disasters of the episode wasn't Minx's fault after all. Jerrica should be more stern regarding the Starlight Girls and their eating habits. And it was their fault for forgetting the alarm code :p
Rothion I agree with this. The only one who had a right to be annoyed even just a little was Rio because Minx did all the work for him instead of just *helping* him learn.
If they wanted minx to stop they could have been nicer like seriously not even Rio: hey minx is okay if I help. Or Jerrica: I appreciate the thought but I don't want or need a makeover at the moment.
Poor Minx , you didn't deserve to be treated like that by the Holograms ! Yes of course Minx commited bad acts in the past (against Regine Cesaire , the Starlights girls and even Pizzazz ).But you can't justify Rio's bad acts (he was very arrogant to Minx on the beach) by other bad acts. That's silly! I'm a Jem and the Holograms' fan but I disliked their lack of feeling for Minx 's problems in this episod! The Holograms didn't try seriously to talk to her and their behaviour was a bit self-centered and bizarre (why were they so upset about Minx's misguided generosity? Minx only wanted to redeem.). It was a very sad episod to watch for me .
The Holograms camp definitely handled Minx's kindness badly. They could have found another way of explaining she was going over the top. Instead of gaining up on her and saying it's too much and she has to stop. I have always loved at the end you could tell by the look on her face that Minx was back to her old self.
In my opinion, they had no right to treat Minx like this. Just cause someone wants to redeem themselves, doesn't give them the right to still treat them like the enemy. The holograms were unaware of most of these problems ahead of time BEFORE Minx came along. If I was there, I would give them including Rio a good slap to their FACES. For those who watch MLP:FIM, if you seen something like this before, Which of or any of those ponies except SPIKE the dragon deserve a good slapping as well and why?
I don't know what you're doing for getting this great sound quality... So as we are waiting for the Jem movie, I only can say thank you for sharing, and we are expecting for the next video..!! ;-) Thanx!!
This actually isn't the first time Jem is kind of a huge bitch to someone who she deems as "bad," so I'm not sure why anyone's surprised. Stormer? In any case, Minx's generosity should have been met with gratitude and adult maturity. She's just abandoned everything she's accustomed to in order to turn herself around. If you ever meet anyone like that, I hope you're mature enough to grab some cocoa and explain. First off, I think giving the kids the candy rather than supplying it to the adults to distribute was poor foresight and it's entirely possible she's used to buying/coercing love, so it was most likely just the first thing that came to mind; however, allergies were a thing even back in the eighties. And the paintball guns were... not age appropriate methinks. Second, Rio's whole issue could have been solved WITHOUT him becoming a baby. With all the crap he's been though, it should have been VERY EASY to see what her heart meant in doing that for him. In the end, I think they missed the chance to have a solid ally. Can you imagine the shitstorm if Kimber, Minx and Stormer started a band?
Masqueradia the original 3 bands would be nothing Kimber writes the songs Stormer stops the misfits from killing each other and minx gives the stingers that sense of humanity with rapture's lies and deceptions and riots ego which is to big all in all shit would hit the fan
They could have taken the candy and given the children it at a time, created rules about using those paint guns in the house, and honestly Jem has needed a security Alarm FOREVER!!! How many times has someone snuck into her house and tried to hurt her? It is seriously not Minx's fault in this episode.
As a kid i didn't understand what was wrong but now I'm older and they could've let her down easier instead of all at once. I don't knoe another eay to do it though. Maybe just say thank you Minx but I was happy with how everything was before and then take her our for lunch as thanks?
Jetta the Ninja Saxophonist. Secretly plays intro's to songs for other bands without the other bands actually noticing. Must be because she can slip into the shadows easily by hiding inside her huge mass of jet black hair.
+comic book reviewer Haha - in the end, I really love the episode. It is one of my favorites. We saw a great depth of Minx's character, plus a little more of the Hologram's more human side. No one is perfect, they're all people with flaws. This is one of the reasons I like the cartoon so much. :]
Great song and great message. Yet it is mired with the fact that in the episode Minx did nothing wrong and it was the Holograms who messed up (and one accident in the Security Alarm's case)
“They handled her acts of kindness so badly here” Yeah, they did, but I think that’s kinda the point though. Minx meant well, and they all knew she meant well, but told her in the worst way possible to back up with it. I mean, they had to justify her reverting back to bad behavior didn’t they? Wouldn’t make sense if she did that after they tell her in an actually helpful way it’s all too much. I don’t think the holograms are bad people at all for how they handled it, you can tell they’re *trying* to ease the blow,,, they just failed really badly with it
I don't know if anyone's noticed it, but except for a fleeting glimpse of Jem's floating head, you don't see her singing once as Jem in this video but as JERRICA.
WOW.
IN FRONT OF MINX AND RIO.
I felt bad or minx in this episode.
+Sage Ninja I did as well but I think Minx was being a little to helpful and ended up making things worse
+comic book reviewer However, most of the disasters of the episode wasn't Minx's fault after all. Jerrica should be more stern regarding the Starlight Girls and their eating habits. And it was their fault for forgetting the alarm code :p
yeah true

couldn't she have written one titled "aww that's really sweet of you minx but we're good maybe next time thanks gurl"?
Poor Minx , you didn't deserve to be treated like that by the Holograms !

Always is going to be too much, when you're helping others and they don't even need or ask for your help, this is the perfect example of it!!!!.
In my opinion, they had no right to treat Minx like this. Just cause someone wants to redeem themselves, doesn't give them the right to still treat them like the enemy. @@hermioneenchanted6564 Stormer is the main songwriter for the Misfits too, so they'd really be screwed.
Good episode 😊

well they do say too much of a good thing is not always a good thing
Alle Dinge sind Gift, und nichts ist ohne Gift, allein die Dosis macht dass ein Ding kein Gift ist...
A message for obsessive fans of anyone or anything!
NGL, this song is how I feel about superhero content nowadays.
I'm glad we both like this song :P
Thanks for your time and hard work. Sounds great!
This is only my opinion but I feel like this is how most folks feel with how MLP:FIM has been as of lately.
Is that Jetta on sax at the beginning?
Brandon Harlow That's what I thought? What the hell Jetta, you're playing for the wrong band here! :D
Jetta the Ninja Saxophonist. Secretly plays intro's to songs for other bands without the other bands actually noticing. Must be because she can slip into the shadows easily by hiding inside her huge mass of jet black hair.
This song is a bop
Wow! Good work :)
I have mixed feelings for this episode. The Holograms were huge jerks to Minx. Poor girl - she just wanted to redeem herself. :(
+Rothion don't blame the jems and the holograms blame the writers

GIVE ME THOSE!!! *stomps on them* lol!!!
I would just Minx we appreciate ylu but you dont have to do things for us we're happy enought just having you as a friend.
By the way, very interesting ep and video... with an adult story.
I felt so bad for minx in this episode😭🤦🏾♀️
I think she meant well but i understand their frustrations.
Poor Minx
The Stingers_____.
“They handled her acts of kindness so badly here”
Yeah, they did, but I think that’s kinda the point though.

So no one thought it was strange that Jerrica was singing?
Nah that was too much by the holograms
