A fantastic video Dave. This place really had a lot to offer and besides fast flowy sections it had some gnarly sections. At 06:00 I already had weak knees behind the TV, that was a really scary section, but you guys mastered it cleanly. Shane was very lucky with the step up at the end, the impact looked very violent. Thanks for sharing and have a great rest of the week mate🤙
Thanks Jason. He'd been commenting on a few of my vids & then i saw him in Carl's video & we set up a group chat. Physically meet him at Narooma. Great guy 👌
Cheers Kieran. It was good to get back there & I found myself turning the afterburners on with Faulk line 🔥.... Monkey on the other hand was taking it easy 👊
@DMMTB mate thats exactly how i felt on faulk line, although my times at the superflow didnt show that 😂😂 I cant wait to get up there and give monkey a proper go either
@DMMTB when i went up there the week before superflow they were still planning on using the section under the faulk line start and that was gnarly enough to get me keen to ride the whole thing Good on you for tackling the whole thing Dave
Nice one mate, look like you were moving well on the bike from the follow cam. Would be nice to ride there outside of a superflow race for sure, and the DH looks GNARR!
Thanks Craig! Yeah the follow cam came out great. The DH is super gnarrrrrr! Several features out of my league but a few more goes on it to get some further progress for sure.
New channel name - Huck Yeah Nah (stole that from Ryan) 🤣 Thanks for a great day out Dave. Many laughs had and some scary moments for us all... Mainly me! Looking forward to the next one Legend 👊
Wow! I don't think Shane could have got any closer to you on that first trail! There were some pretty wild sections in there and that A-Line on the step up quite frankly looks dangerous. If trail speed brings you up that short on day with what looked like perfect conditions, something needs changing!
Hey Darren. It’s a big feature for sure but in the morning we saw someone clear it easily which made Shane want to try it. He said he tried to push through the jump but he admitted he should have popped instead. For the 1st trail I went into race mode as that’s all I’d ever done on it. Shane being so close was great footage 🤙🏼

@@ckMTB yeah it was wild down those rocks. Shane was very lucky. Thanks for watching
Nice riding guys! Those trails looked heaps fun and that techy dh section really full on! Starting to think Shane is a bit crazy too! 😂
Thanks Ryan. Yeah I was surprised that he even thought about it but wasn't sure how good of a rider he is.
Good to see you team up with Shane. Good vid as always

Great vid dave! Only rode there 2 months ago for the first time, its a pretty rad spot to ride!
Love your work mate

@@kizbish As I said in the video it's one of the gnarly lines I've ridden recently

Monkey DH... what the....?? I've seen it on vids of it before mate but yours gave it even more perspective.
Next level. Well done 👏
@@carlzadro625 thanks Carl. Seriously hard in places
Fantastic video Dave, must have been a fun day being able to just ride instead of racing. Monkey DH…Holly Crap…well done!!
@@coalcoastmtb yeah it was fun but I kicked into race mode on Faulk line. Monkey is seriously hard
@@DMMTB old habits 😂

Looking fwd to it!
And me, with you seeming like you stepping out 🤣
Woo Hoo. One skinny ticked 🤟. Great day at Awaba. We both did well down the Monkey Chute 🎉
I thought you'd like me hitting a skinny 👌 ...yes we did!
@@DMMTB Absolutely, once you've done one - there's no stopping you now.
Monkey DH looks full on... It's on the list of to do's... but won't be for a while ha ha. Nice work Dave.
@@JEMTB90 thanks Mate. When are you done this way?
@@DMMTB not sure yet. Have a 3 week trip to America coming up 😅 so my holidays are being sucked into that lol!

Boy that bit at the end could’ve panned out much worse for old mate
Indeed it could've. Lucky to walk away from it
