Citi just raised price target on NIO to $8.90. Those analysts covering NIO are so unreliable and always playing catch up. That’s why I don’t give 2 cents about what they have to say.
ONE THING NO ONE IS SEEING IS THAT SINCE ITS $60 RUN IN 2022 'NIO'S SHARE COUNT HAS DOUBLED AS POINTED OUT BY A TOUYUBER . FROM 1.1 BILLION SHARES TO 2.2 BILLION AND NO ONE REALLY NOTICED .
NIO China is where all the core assets sit. We now own about 4% less of the company, not a dilution ? The new investment is buying 4% of the company. Why would you divided by their total investment to arrive at NIO valuation ? Very misleading report but I am not surprised because most UA-camrs are not financial savvy.
Then I guess you are also clever than Deutsche Bank because what I said on the video is the same sentiment they share. Cash injection investment is a very good thing for a company and to know that it does not bringing dilution to us as investors it’s great
@@phumudzosiphoro it’s a dilution but not a direct one. They are using a backdoor to lower our ownership of the assets. Raising cash via stock sale at NIO Inc would kill any momentum so they are using its sub to raise cash. Those shares that they are selling have preferential rights and are senior to our shares at NIO Inc. NIO Inc is a holding company with no assets. The company’s core assets are held in NIO China and selling more shares of that subsidiary is reducing our asset ownership indirectly. The good news as that we have new capital to invest and we won’t need to worry about liquidity through 2025.
