McDaniel was never smart and he also happens to be an unfunny dork as well. I tried telling people this from the start and I've always been dumbfounded over everyone saying how "brilliant" and "cool" he is.
Tua loses to the top tier QBs most times. He’s good but not elite and if a game comes down to him having to win it vs a great QB most times he falls short. System QB not a game changer
How about teaching Tua to stop diving head first into tacklers. What does he think he is? A dolphin? Nothing like it because real dolphins can kill a shark head first.
They were struggling with contending teams before the NFL cracked down on motions. They're top heavy with speed but no real winning culture to lean on when adversity comes.
"Your Jets", like he has anything to do with that teams success in 2024. By the way the last time the Jets made the playoffs was 14 years ago when Rex was the head coach. He dragged that dumpster fire of a franchise to back to back AFC championship games with Mark Sanchez as his quarterback. Jets should honestly re hire Rex as their next coach after this season.
Flo had his team with Tua but thought he was trash, which is why they fired him. I liked Flo, but can you imagine what would have been if he actually tried to develop Tua instead of sabotaging him?🤔
Dude, Flores could not even keep a coaching staff of any sorts on the offensive side of the ball. Nobody liked him and nobody wanted to be with him. That’s facts
Flores 24-25 with the phins, no playoff W. McDaniel 22-22 with the phins (and much better roster overall), no playoff wins. Flores fought with management over being hindered, McDaniel seems to roll with the punches... neither had success. Flores did the same, with less
@BuffaloBilliam bingo, Flores would be much better. He essentially had less on both sides of the ball and basically got the same results. Tua succeeded because he has much more talent but the team doesn't win without the pieces and never beat teams of quality at full strength. They should have not signed Tua and let McDaniels go because he doesn't adjust well.
Keep in mind that Flo wanted to trade Tua for Watson. Can you imagine how many yrs behind this franchise would be with that contract😬 Now imagine if he liked Tua and hired Mike as an OC. Again, I thought Flo was a good coach but was disappointed in his dislike of Tua. Mike obviously did what Flo didn't with the Qb position, which now gives the team more potential to contend but the results have been the same. Imo injuries have sabotaged Mike's teams. 22 Tua doesn't finish season. 23 o-line and def were disamated. This yr Tua's injury prevented our automatic wins...
You cannot continue to fire coaches and turn over staff. Fire the GM makes a lot of sense but our offense with Tua and a really solid run game is putting up 27 pts a game. The trenches are weak especially DL and Linebackers. This year is depressing for sure
The problem with that is you never full turn over a new leaf and new GM and old HC is forced to work together then in a year your replacing HC. This processes we have done over and over fire one keep one all it done is kept us low to mid. If one goes they both go turn the leaf fully over and have GM and HC live or die together. Becasue a new GM will not get the team more discipline or more prepared for games.
Mike McDaniel should probably just be a offensive coordinator I don’t think he’s head coach material even though most of the team failures are not his fault
Are you kidding me? First let me say I’m born and raised in Miami Dade county and at 41 I’ve always been a dolphin and let me mention I’ve played the sport from little leafy, high school and college. Mike McDaniel is the biggest reason this team is what it is. Bad play call decisions, bad player management he has stunk it up last year and this year. Last year the wind masked the BS but I saw it as one who actually played the sport then it spilled over to this year and now the cat is out the bag. This last game was actually the best game he coached hands down. Got to give it to Josh Allen he’s a beast. Bro your wrong it ain’t Grier not the players it’s McDaniel point blank period.
Wasn't Ryan the one that said last week the Raiders were gonna 'punch the Chiefs in the mouth'?😂 There's a reason he's an analyst now and not on the sideline.
Dude Flores really was the problem, we coulda had Tom brady but flo messed that up. Then Flo wanted us to trade for Watson… you see how that went for Cleveland.
Rex ryan is right 100% ross has no idea what he is doing so of course the guy he hires to run the team has no idea what he is doing so of course he will hire a coach (a beta coach at that) that has no idea what he is doing. What a winning formula 🤣
Rex Ryan wrong again lol I want to be a sports analyst just guessing what will happen and doesn’t matter what you say. Ted lasso did is so well when Roy Kent went off on air talking about them talking nonsense on tv.
Miami is just a joke of a franchise. 30 years of zip. A couple of years of mediocre play and right back into the cellar. How does this team have any fans left?
Same way the bears, jets, raiders, redskins and all the teams that haven’t won superbowls do. We keep believing things will get better and we love our teams even when they infuriate us. Sorry not all of us can be chiefs fans
@@HoonTurd Yup, never thought I'd be there but feel the same way. What is the point of watching a team that never seems to have passion or a desire to up their game. Last year was the break for me, from the Titan game on I felt nothing but rage. Just not worth it for me.

Not that a commenter is necessarily right, but you don't have to be a coach or a pro player to understand sports and know what you're talking about. You just don't. Most former NBA players for example are way dumber than the fans.
Yeah... 2 afc championship appearances in first 2 yrs as a head coach and a sb ring on the ravens 2000 defensive staff. That's more accomplished than mcdaniels by a mile 🤡
The truth is the ravens didn’t need to trade for Dionte Johnson, feel like it was only done because the top AFC teams traded for receivers too
It was done because of the price, and the opportunity to add depth
One game against the Broncos proves this? 😂😂😂
BAL WRs are barely avg as a group but also not deep. Regardless DBs are biggest problem.
McDaniel was never smart and he also happens to be an unfunny dork as well. I tried telling people this from the start and I've always been dumbfounded over everyone saying how "brilliant" and "cool" he is.
Hes literally the only beta head coach in the history of the nfl not good
Dolphins can't beat an elite team. Simple as that
Dolphins can't even beat a team with a winning record

I thought Mike McDaniels was “boy genius,” and saved Miami from the evil Brian Flores? Lol foh
Never forget. MIA demanded Flores tank games. No repercussions for the owners because they all do it.
Mike is HIGH ..all the time ..dude on the snow, vape and pills
He needs rehab
Sure seems that way.

Chris Grier should be fired as GM and Mike McDaniel should be fired as head coach, and they thought that Brian Flores was the biggest problem in Miami
Miami looked great today. They just lost the game.

Buffalo beat themselves all first half and still won with a C game against the best game Miami has played against us offensively.
