Does anyone know if Korean and Japanese really don't have their own words for English words? I've seen his other vids and it seems like they're just saying the English words most of the time by using syllables that sound similar in their own languages
That is so true.
all languages make use of Loan words. English has a lot, most of them you probably don't even know are loan words because you've grown up using them. the English word Tycoon for example is a japanese loan word. it's not that English doesn't possess the words needed to express the idea, it's just that somewhere along the line the loan word made it's way into our vernacular and now everybody uses it.
Visshaldar when people are too lazy to translate so theyre just like "you know what screw it, lets just not change it" on a positive side it introduces a common word between the language making it internationally acceptable

yup we don't literally translate them unless it seems hard to understand :) since those are names or titles haha
yup so when they learn english they can't tell the pronounce diffrence they r like still speaking korean or japanese
If you go to Japan, you'll notice the sounds of the Katakana are for English, but as words just pronounced rather similar with a thick accent.

Very funny. I think Japanese and Koreans transliterate all words foreign but the Chinese translate it. However, older phrases have near-similar pronunciation among the three, like 少年 shonen sonen shaonian.

It just like how we name chocolate, but actually , chinese ,korean are from differnt language system. Chinese and tibetant are from same language system, Korean is more close to Altaic language system including Mongolian ,Manchurian etc. Japanese is more complicated, some argue it belongs to Altaic language, but still there are clear difference between them.
They use the same chinese writing system..Koreans use Hanja, the Japanese use Kanji, and the Chinese use 繁体字(?)

I really like this videos. It's interesting to see the different way English words are pronouced in other parts of the world.
I love how Japanese and Korean are just them saying the word with their accent but Chinese is always a direct translation of the word.

I have a question about Korean and Japanese, it seems that they never translate English into their own language but just pronounce it with their own ways. One example, in chinese , Facebook is so called "lianshu", face=lian,book=shu. We will pronouce Foreigh words in chinese way only when there is no such thing in our dictionary, for example, choclate , sofa, soda, salade etc. Meantime, we named certain new born things based on our own understanding, for example , computer, in chinese it is called "diannao", which means electrical brain. Can someboday explain me a little bit about how ppl creat the words in Japanese and Korean about new things.

Yea.. like what the last comment said, its just a difference between how korean would just pronounce the words without changing anything but in China they would translate it to their own language.
+임병국 It is easy. The Korean alphabet has a lot of vowels and cpnsonants so it would not be hard to resemble english pronunciation, while Japanese using katakana for writing foreign words. However, japanese dont have final consonants, which results in Back, pronounced Baku, (バク), chocolate, chocoreeto (チョコレート), in order to create the final consonants
Chinese is like using it both for example COCACOLA is KEKOUKELE 可口可乐 literally means "Delicious and Happiness" but it sounds like the original words to Chinese ppl
They just copy the English sound, in Chinese sometimes we use the meaning of the English word to translate so it sounds really different.
