In Canada we have the same rights as Americans, it's just that our government violates our rights with the licensing system and restrictions. Gun rights are human rights.
When a Population is Disarmed: A Brief History of Tyranny :: 11/05/2017 History has shown us again and again that when a nation is disarmed by their government, tyranny follows. Adolph Hitler famously said, “To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens.” Recently, Canadian gun rights activist, Bruce Montague told Rebel media that when he first became aware that the government wanted to disarm law abiding citizens he realized that the government did not trust law-abiding citizens. “And when the government does not trust decent people with guns,” he said, “Decent people can no longer trust their government.” The United States is not the only country based on classical English liberalism- a tradition that respects the God-given right of the individual to life, liberty, and the chance to pursue happiness. It is, however, the one western nation where this principle is most fully enshrined in law. Freedom of speech and the freedom to bear arms are hallmarks of that fact. We were given a legal right to bear arms by the founders because they wanted to create a lasting union, and they had the first-hand experience with the ways in which power corrupts, and liberty is destroyed. The founders knew that the people are the heart, soul, and substance of a nation and they must each individually have the right to defend their own lives, land, and families from any enemy. Throughout history, governments have understood this. Every state power has known that in order to subjugate a people, those people must be disarmed. A house, after all, is like a fortification when its occupants are armed. Without arms, the occupants of a home are more like prey in a trap when police descend upon them. History is full of examples of governments disarming their citizens with the promise that they will be protected by the state only to be brutally betrayed. What follows is a litany of blood that has not been taught in American high schools in nearly one hundred years. 1911: Turkey; citizens disarmed - 1.5 million Armenians were slaughtered 1929: Russia; citizens disarmed - 20 million Russians murdered 1935: China; citizens disarmed - 20 million Chinese killed 1938: Germany; citizens disarmed - 6 million Jews murdered 1956: Cambodia; citizens disarmed - 1 million “intellectuals” killed 1964: Guatemala; citizens disarmed - 100,000 Mayan Indians massacred 1970: Uganda; citizens disarmed - 300,000 Christians put to death The ancient eastern martial arts are, almost without exception, the creations of people who were deprived of their weapons. Kung Fu, Karate, Judo, and so many more systems of self-defense were created by people desperate to defend their homes and families from tyrannical governments. Here in the United States, we have a democratic republic, which means the government must first manufacture consent before they can take our weapons. Unfortunately living in a civilized society does not exclude us from this type of unlawful action. After Hurricane Katrina finished wreaking havoc in Louisiana, local governments began forcibly confiscating firearms from everyone, even innocent, law-abiding citizens. One elderly woman was beaten half to death when she attempted to hand over a small revolver to a group of police that forced their way into her home. As every legal gun owner knows, there are already many laws controlling the sale and movement of firearms. Licensing, controls, varying laws from state to state, and grueling background checks present a high barrier to legal gun ownership. Worse, every legal gun owner has generated paperwork that the government can use to create a list of armed citizens. The fact that so many false statistics and propaganda are used to try to push anti-gun laws on us is the only proof you need to know that being armed is not a privilege. Responsible gun ownership is the duty of every qualified and capable citizen. americangunnews.com/when-a-population-is-disarmed-a-brief-history-of-tyranny/
Germany liberalized their gun laws in the 1930's. What happened was the 100k German Jews lost their citizenship so they no longer had a right to own firearms. The other 70 million Germans found it easier. It is much, much harder in today's German "Democracy" to own a firearm. It's almost always the far-left that disarms it's citizens. They don't belong on this list.

Just thought I would throw this out there. You do not require a course to take your PAL/RPAL license exam. If you are comfortable doing so, you may “challenge” the test and simply complete the written and practical portions, without requiring you to pay/participate in any course. This is to say that that the course, while beneficial to many, is not a prerequisite in obtaining a valid Possession and Acquisitions License.

As gun owners, what can we do to stop this senseless attack on us law-abiding gun owners? I joined the CCFR, but aside from that, I feel quite helpless. Is this how a democracy operates? The government passes bills and no one can argue with them?
1: Vote. We really only have one option to vote for, the CPC. But voting also includes voting for pro-gun policies at their AGMs and making sure the party knows about us. 2: Support groups like the CCFR. Their power is really limited. Lawsuit, while they do try, are unlikely to succeed. However, their biggest contributions is lobbying the government to represent us. This always fails under LPC rule, but under CPC rule, they are needed to help push the CPC to keep their promises. 3: Help grow the hobby. Get family and friends out to the range and show them what it actually is, not the fearmongering BS the LPC says it is. The more gun owners there are the more politically risky it is to attack the hobby.
According to the current "Buy Back Program" price list that is out.. I dont see them paying under $1000 for ANYTHING.. so if people were smart.. they would find the CHEAPEST firearm on the ban list like a $400 GSG-16 and go buy 10 or so.. and make some good money on the buy back.

There are plenty of semis left, the SKS is just the most politically risky of the firearms to ban.

@@Roypb01 Yep. Remarkably similar.
Cubans have better gun rights than the UK. One of the big restrictions in Cuba is simply the lack of firearms thanks to US sanctions. Anyone over18 can apply for a license and they take a short course, similar to Canada.
In Canada we have the same rights as Americans, it's just that our government violates our rights with the licensing system and restrictions.

When a Population is Disarmed: A Brief History of Tyranny :: 11/05/2017
History has shown us again and again that when a nation is disarmed by their government, tyranny follows. Adolph Hitler
famously said, “To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens.”
Recently, Canadian gun rights activist, Bruce Montague told Rebel media that when he first became aware that the
government wanted to disarm law abiding citizens he realized that the government did not trust law-abiding citizens.
“And when the government does not trust decent people with guns,” he said, “Decent people can no longer trust their
government.”
The United States is not the only country based on classical English liberalism- a tradition that respects the God-given
right of the individual to life, liberty, and the chance to pursue happiness. It is, however, the one western nation where this
principle is most fully enshrined in law. Freedom of speech and the freedom to bear arms are hallmarks of that fact. We
were given a legal right to bear arms by the founders because they wanted to create a lasting union, and they had the
first-hand experience with the ways in which power corrupts, and liberty is destroyed. The founders knew that the people
are the heart, soul, and substance of a nation and they must each individually have the right to defend their own lives,
land, and families from any enemy.
Throughout history, governments have understood this. Every state power has known that in order to subjugate a people,
those people must be disarmed. A house, after all, is like a fortification when its occupants are armed. Without arms, the
occupants of a home are more like prey in a trap when police descend upon them.
History is full of examples of governments disarming their citizens with the promise that they will be protected by the
state only to be brutally betrayed. What follows is a litany of blood that has not been taught in American high schools in
nearly one hundred years.
1911: Turkey; citizens disarmed - 1.5 million Armenians were slaughtered
1929: Russia; citizens disarmed - 20 million Russians murdered
1935: China; citizens disarmed - 20 million Chinese killed
1938: Germany; citizens disarmed - 6 million Jews murdered
1956: Cambodia; citizens disarmed - 1 million “intellectuals” killed
1964: Guatemala; citizens disarmed - 100,000 Mayan Indians massacred
1970: Uganda; citizens disarmed - 300,000 Christians put to death
The ancient eastern martial arts are, almost without exception, the creations of people who were deprived of their
weapons. Kung Fu, Karate, Judo, and so many more systems of self-defense were created by people desperate to defend
their homes and families from tyrannical governments.
Here in the United States, we have a democratic republic, which means the government must first manufacture consent
before they can take our weapons.
Unfortunately living in a civilized society does not exclude us from this type of unlawful action. After Hurricane Katrina
finished wreaking havoc in Louisiana, local governments began forcibly confiscating firearms from everyone, even
innocent, law-abiding citizens. One elderly woman was beaten half to death when she attempted to hand over a small
revolver to a group of police that forced their way into her home.
As every legal gun owner knows, there are already many laws controlling the sale and movement of firearms. Licensing,
controls, varying laws from state to state, and grueling background checks present a high barrier to legal gun ownership.
Worse, every legal gun owner has generated paperwork that the government can use to create a list of armed citizens.
The fact that so many false statistics and propaganda are used to try to push anti-gun laws on us is the only proof you
need to know that being armed is not a privilege. Responsible gun ownership is the duty of every qualified and capable
citizen.

"6 million"
Germany liberalized their gun laws in the 1930's. What happened was the 100k German Jews lost their citizenship so they no longer had a right to own firearms. The other 70 million Germans found it easier. It is much, much harder in today's German "Democracy" to own a firearm. It's almost always the far-left that disarms it's citizens. They don't belong on this list.
All they did is make gun runners rich how slow do ppl have to be….
They can not come after your god given rights and something that they don’t own it is your property
This isn’t America , Canadians have zero rights to firearms
They absolutely can come after it! It is up to you and me to defend our God given rights!
Next do a video on the state of illegal firearms in canada vs the safely stored and operated ones..
We need more PAL instructors to offer more opportunities to take the course. I have several range qualifications to teach new firearms owners how to utilize their property after their PAL has been issued. My club receives calls every day regarding PAL courses. We lack the opportunities to promote our sport due to our current government. I will cut up any ban guns before i allow them to be used in the Ukraine war.
How is it possible to update this with the house still being seized? Is that not affected by it?
They used their executive power, order in council, to do it. That does not require the House or Senate.
@@bats8888 thank you for clarification
Its heart crushing to see them destroy vintage collectible firearms that have been stored like the Mona Lisa by their rightful owner.
I wan’t to get my PAL so bad
Do it!
@ I just heard the test was very difficult
It's not difficult at all. Just pay attention to the instructor and you'll be fine. Some let you take notes too, just ask.
@ I just made my GCKEY login going to pursue it in the coming months. Thank you so so much.
@@d8zvevoh879 oh buddy. If you like firearms and are familiar with the terms, its a cake walk. I would say pay more attention to the practical side of things when handling the firearms. Best of luck!
SOR 2020-96 clearly stated that they were going to ban anything that was purchased to replace the banned guns. so theoretically they could ban all semi-autos and then start going after any repeating firearm based on what they feel Canadians are buying in response
I wouldn't worry too much about it. The government can write anything they want on a piece of paper but making it a reality is a different story. They are in the hoping and wishing phase and they can just go ahead and keep doing both.
All I can say is bye-bye Trewdee
Damn I’m from nyc I thought we had it bad but Canada is on a whole different level
Make no mistake, your city had become a liberal shithole.
Is the SG-542 now banned? Ironically, that’s a rifle that we could never buy in the U.S., but the FAMAE version was sold in Canada.
Any concrete info on tube fed semi auto shotguns?
Doesn't matter. This is just another attempt by the Libranos to salvage what little popularity they have left.
how bad can it get in canada before we can claim refuge status down south? its not like the border is protected lol
That would be my dream come true, really expensive if you do the current process without marrying someone there
Western nations do not accept white people as refugees.
There are many treacherous waterways in Canada, and canoes and kayaks tip all the time. Often, people lose all the belongings they were carrying with them at the time to the depths below
A lot of people will be very defensive about this and will not allow them to do this and people will be hurt
Just don’t comply. Simple. Not one person comply.
"Homemade" Branding name, OIC may be made by an individual such as the owner, machinist, or a local gunsmith... tagged all over those non-restricted classifications. costs little as $14 for the average machinist to put out those kind of percussion rifles. they even have electronic ignition versions! smith classes are affordable, in Alberta in the least. just remember to take in 2000kg of scrap metal to the recycler to get the $75 for a license.
High capacity Sling shots will be next
if next government does not extend ar ban oic, then we should still can have something to use.
Is the black creek labs grizzly banned?
2020 they said to find some replacement firearm, 2024 they ban your replacement and tell you go find other replacement, and they will ban your next replacement on Feb. 2025. So, they still get the tax from the replacement. Nice idea
Gonna get proficient at 3D printing
Is the Ruger PC Charger 9mm legal in Canada?
Not any more!
File for political asylum in the United States. In a republican state.
See what happens
It’s only paperwork.
Get denied try another angle
The new bills about speech should be enough to get asylum
Will the SKS stay clear of this shit?
We'll see in February, but I don't think so.
The battle was lost with the "P" part of PAL , with that you have to renew your permission to simply possess what is rightfully yours all that has to be done is not renew your pal and boom you're a criminal , unlike the old FAC which was only required for the purchase
I do wonder about the Crypto. I feel like in a weird way it might be okay because it was specifically designed to comply with C-21.
Edit: Also, it is somewhat amusing that the Raven was promoted over the Crypto for having an FRT, and now look lol.
And the mags are proprietary..
@XcmxMccqx Exactly, their main argument with every semi-auto they banned is that it can accept a standard capacity magazine. The Crypto can't, so it should be fine by their own definition.
@GordonShemway1 at this point they will do anything they want with no logical reason for doing so. It's black. Ban it.
@@GordonShemway1 until they ban it
If it looks scary to them they will ban it.
Is it possible to get a pal with CP on strike?
Kind of.
They will issue a pal, but of course it won't be mailed out. However, you could call the CFP and they could give you your PAL number early. It would allow for some online orders.
Did they prohibit all 223 rifles on the market?
From the U.S. here Trump wants Canada to become the 51st state.

Could the conservatives release and oic saying that all the various guns that have been banned, are no longer banned? If not, why not? Why does it work in only one direction?
The Firearms Act says OICs can only make a firearm more restricted, not less.
However, they can rescinded an OIC which would cancel it out anyway.
@@bats8888 Gotcha, thank you for clarifying that for me. Appreciate it :)
Bear in mind, Canada... you may need help from your neighbors to the south. If you surrender your guns like sheep, I doubt any of us will be all that eager to lend a hand, much less anything else.
What if I seriously unironically lost a gun during a boating trip 😂

It’s a joke. No one is going to do this and if they say they did, they are lying.

I was just about to order a Raven too... :(
Order a Crypto instead, they're better anyways
If you think this is ever going to be "undone", you're playing right into their game. It continues with Pierre, watch
I hope it's not the case but it is possible
Nope there is a video out from him that he says he will abolish this system and make a better one for hunters
@@jeffhardy777777 abolish this system is different from reverse the ban list. Watch him carefully, he's very selective with his words. He never once said these guns will be unbanned
@BaadMotorFinger on another video he said "give you back control of your lawful property" he's better than any other option out there and even if he stops the bans going forward is better than whatever else they have already planned. Personally I'm not affected by this list but it can go overboard like banning extended magazines that can be a life or death situation in a polar bear attack so we really need to stop this before it goes overboard
It's too bad Canadians have all forgotten that the government is supposed to do what we want, not the other way around. Our forefathers would be ashamed.
Do you think the cz 600 will get banned?
I highly doubt it. If they started OIC banning bolt actions, the pushback would be defining.
What's Left? Everything. Everything is left. That is the problem in canada atm.
I refuse to comply with a criminal government. I never will.
The hellion bruh I can’t believe I coulda had a hellion 😭

what's so controversial about the SKS and M1G?
Older looking, but more specifically for the SKS, indigenous hunting rights violations becuase its so popular.
"Canadian firearms" Canadistan doesn't make civilian firearms!!!
We used to...
and probably someone owning these guns will get more penalty then those criminals branding/using totally illegal handguns smuggled from the south
Welp, thankfully most of my firearms aren't restricted. The ones that were/are will unfortunately be stolen at some point in the future.
I have my hopes, but I'm not even sure PP will right the ship when his time comes. I suspect this will continue, until proven wrong.
Trudolph is history
What will be left, spears Bow's & shield's.😂
According to the current "Buy Back Program" price list that is out.. I dont see them paying under $1000 for ANYTHING.. so if people were smart.. they would find the CHEAPEST firearm on the ban list like a $400 GSG-16 and go buy 10 or so.. and make some good money on the buy back.
My way of life and freedom is not for sale.
What I don’t understand is what any of it matters anyway given the lack of self defense laws that make it possible to defend yourself without going to prison. If all you want to do is go moose hunting, then you still can. But what value does owning a pistol or semiautomatic rifle have in Canada? Just the fun of plinking?
What Canadian firearms? 🤔

Be careful with your kitchen knives.
Eventually you'll need a licence to get one and they'll be registered + serialized.
Lool, they will ban all semi shotguns, like Benelli m2/m4.

no worries, most will be sold to US probably so just wait til things reverse & we can sell them back to you.

Have any of you ever actually used a gun for self defense in Canada? Like is this a thing?
Yes, people have. And yes, it is allowed.
Look up Ian Runkle on UA-cam, he's a Canadian firearms lawyer.
@bats8888 have you personally or do you know anyone that has personally used a firearm in self defense in Canada?
No and no.
Short answer: only fudd garbage is left. They might as well prohibit that as well because who gives a shit about fudds?
This is so very disappointing I was heartbroken to learn they banned handguns the week after I got the license only to own handguns for competition reasons well not anymore then they go and ban all the pcc for the majority I was scared of this when I saw the pistols go and then now this all I’m really hoping something will change and it’ll all come back however it’s time to leave this once Great nation. no Canada
