Well it was dark and she had a head injury.
She could have done it on purpose as they talk of trouble in the marriage during pregnancy. That he's supposed to have accused her of using pregnancy as än excuse to not be intimate.
I hope not though because that would just be cruel.

Its actually a known phenomena and not the first example, there have been others where women claim to have been attacked by their husbands / boyfriends and their husband / boyfriend had nothing to do with the attack, yet women will let emotion rule their memories by placing false ones there.
I hope the guy got a good compensation payout for false imprisonment.

They should have never convicted him on eyewitness alone. Especially eyewitness of a head injured person. Unfortunately many men have been killed by the death penalty for crimes they didn't commit.

I can't believe they put so much weight on her testimony considering she had her head cracked open with a 2 x 4. People can have false memories it happens I know I've had a concussion.
My cousin and another guy riding around in my cousin's pickup went off the road and hit the foundation of an old outhouse that used to be part of a railroad station. And it was right in front of our house. The truck was flipped upside down in both of them had to be extricated. This was in the 70s in a small town of about 200 people. Another words there wasn't a lot of services available. I heard the noise that came out and saw the ambulance. My cousin was injured the least. His buddy Murray didn't come out so well. People said he was never the same. His personality changed. He was slower.
You know it's strange that they didn't take that into account. And for that they should be sued to high heaven!

With the 9-year old, maybe he really did it and the "spot" on the panties was from some other stain, a day earlier. Nothing prevents a child from wearing the same underwear twice. This did not "prove" he was innocent, especially since he had told his friend he "did something terrible," left town immediately, and could not "remember" where he was. Where is the rest of the story? That same DNA sample should have been investigated with genealogical DNA tracing by now (Cece's company) to find out WHO it belongs to.

In the first story, there are two skeletal remains in a field (ie, they'd been there a long time) yet the suspect had his arm in a sling likely from an injury in murdering the latest victim. But that must have been months and months earlier (because the victim was now a skeleton) - doesn't gel

Respectfully, it does. Boxer's fractures are so difficult to heal without surgery. It usually requires implanting and screwing steel rods alongside the carpal bone in the hand. If the perp didn't have the surgery, it could take many months to heal.

Furthermore it’s not definitive it’s a possibility as it’s seemed “a fighter break” seen in many cases of fist fights based on X-rays taken and examine over the years. That feature didnt correlate with the incident described by the perpetrators and additional evidence convicted him. I’m sure similar X-rays were examined.
