Way to go Adam!!! I was in that front group with y'all for a short while til mechanical issue and fell back to the chasing group, I ended up 87th at 11hrs BUT for you to have mechanical issues and be solo for as long as you were and to still come in 10th at 9.5hrs is incredible man!!! Chapeau!!!! Next Year fingers crossed no flats/mechanicals... Podium for you for sure!!
The videos are getting better and better Adam, especially when we get such awesome race footage. What you're creating is actually insane, we're getting an inside perspective at the highest level of gravel racing in the world - even though it's nice to have, you don't need the best shots / music, your story and perspective is what makes you stand out. Keep riding hard, and keep sharing these updates!
Really appreciate the honest look at what happened in your race and how you owned your mistake. Yes, as a pro racer you need results but it sounds like you had a great day on the bike and for most of us that is what it is about.
That sprint was a a masterclass in how to set up a crash. Two years in a row that Lifetime doesn't provide any safe sprinting areas. Only a matter of time before something goes wrong.
So much fun to get an exciting recap 5 months later! Great work Adam on staying with it even after a flat. I’m not sure how you made it through mud alley so quickly (around 170 miles in)…that’s what took me out of the top 100 but now I know I better just run forward until I can find a surface to pedal again
New to gravel bike riding I’m a former runner. Badly broken ankle and torn Achilles have cut me off running. I am really starting to see the appeal of gravel biking. That was a great recap very enjoyable nicely done.
Thanks for sharing your race experience! Saw you finish Gravel Worlds, having done the shorter course myself, very impressive! Your recovery is complete. I notice that most of the lead group is now using hydration packs, I’m curious as to why you are not.
Lots of good information and yes, the footage was great. fwiw I did my first Unbound this year and though I started out on mtb I don't consider myself one type of cyclist or the other and would be very hesitant to label another rider I didn't know very well. I did tend to do better on descents (and I never flatted) than others I saw out there who were actually braking going down little hills. So yeah, I like and follow Adam but if there's one minor gripe it's this: his and others' classification of cyclists marks them as somewhat noob-ish. Just because you see someone on a certain type of bike doesn't make "this" or "that" type of rider. Many of us "ride all the bikes" and you don't know what we rode yesterday or will ride tomorrow.
I love your honestly about how you flatted. I can totally picture feeling great knowing you’ve put in the work, looking at your fellow riders about to blow up and fall off the back. Then BOOM, you’ve got a flat and now your falling off the back! You could have easily kept that to yourself and just let the ego take over. But that’s not really how Canadians play it do they? More an American thing lol, anyways very impressive to solo that long and still be just off the lead.
I watched from beginning to end and actually enjoyed it Great effort Adam . With a result like that I am not sure why you would not be happy . If you didn't get the flat *******well you know
Awesome race Adam. Congratulations! Btw, I saw you race a Factor Ostro Gravel. I was debating on buying one for my 2023 Unbound 200. If I put larger tires, will it be "comfortable" enough?
unlucky, you done well considering mechanical issues that can happen to any one, one thing i learnt being a pro was patience & trusting your own pace & patience
I appreciated the recap of percentages contributed Curious Do you think some riders like Ian Boswell and other “patrons” of the group put too much effort in the beginning hurting their own chances to shed the field early? This first effort is not shared or is shared?

Thank you so much for that Alex
Be very proud of that ride, top 10 after the mechanicals is an exceptional effort. Chapeau.
@Andrew Tucker Honestly- no idea, your comment is way better than mine. It’s early, give it time and I’m sure the likes will come.
Thank Andrew !! 🤟

Love the pit stop split- screen camera work. Felt like I was there. Loved it!
YEAH!!
Your feed zone logistics seems great. I'd love a video showing what goes into a good feed zone for you.
Keep up the great work.
Cheers,

Great show Adam, man I would be happy too especially finishing that very tuff race!! Congrats to you my friend
Thanks Rudy!
LÉGENDAIRE
😘 🙏
Nice work! I noticed you loading up on bottles, 5 at the 1st stop maybe. Are you drinking most of your calories? Have you considered a hydration vest?
I prefer bottles to Hydration pack for sure :)
bravo legros. super resultat
Merci!!

I don't understand thought it was supposed to be unsupported.

Why do I have to see your face so often in this video?
