I played select portions of this recording several times. What a great celebration of the notable past some of us experienced growing up in the Central Koloszvar SDA Church between 1970-1990's!! Thank you for remembering a glorious history of faith and resilience in the forever beautiful city of Koloszvar. I just wanted to respectfully add, my father too, dedicated and sacrificed his entire life to the well being and advancement of Adventism in Cluj county and beyond. He never preached in Hungarian but he was born a Hungarian. Anyway, as a protege of Mr. Szetagotay Sr. (The treasurer of the Transylvanian Conference at that time) he did what a few pastors did in those times: he has actively and palpably defended the Adventist faith and church in front of the authoritarian Romanian Communist regime for nearly half a century. In other words , he watched over and defended pastors like Wilhelm Moldovan, so that he could continue to do his work, unbothered and unhindered... I wonder how many of us know the " hidden" and "forgotten" history of those "working behind the scenes" so that today you can still worship in this beautiful space?
