Can you tell me about your outboard situation? I have a Vic 18 and stock motor bracket with trolling motor. I would like to get an outboard for it, but my 15” 2.6 I don’t think will be long enough for it. Thanks
What are your opinions on this boats stability? I currently have a Capri 14.2 but want to upgrade to something a little larger that wont require me being in the water due to a knockdown. Will this boat right itself if the mast should hit the water, if it even get that low say due to a mistake gybing...ect..ect
@@TMAXXPUNISHER it’s got 500lbs of ballast and feels as stable as a much bigger boat. I’ve never been worried about a knockdown, but rarely / never sail in anything stiffer than fresh.
I have no complaints! They're super fun, really stable, and can take the puffs in stride with all that lead in the keel. It's a real head turner. Not going to overnight comfortably, but it's an excellent day sailor, or spartan weekender if you're camping on shore.
How do you secure your halyards to the bulkhead? Love the organized cockpit!

I'm looking at buying one of these boats, if you have opinions I'd love to hear them, hoping to spend a summer cruising around the great lakes
