Haricharan & Supriyaa Ram present to you a cover of this Timeless Classic "Jotheyali" which was originally composed by Isaignani Ilayaraja for the Kannada Movie "Geetha" sung by legends S P Balasubramanyam and Janaki Madam. This is intertwined with the other remakes of the same tune which took form in Tamil and Hindi in the later years.
This Cover is arranged by "Dossmode" Dheeru so beautifully who has given it a completely different flavour in the Lines of Electronic and lounge. Abinandan, the guitarist blends in with his spaced out performance adding more love to the track.
This Collaboration is Special since this was recorded and performed, shot in 2 different states Karnataka & TamilNadu with completely separate teams and then Compiled into one. Courtesy : The Lockdown and the Covid Situation.
This effort is just a pure celebration of the music, love and legacy this Track beholds.

Of all, kannada version was extremely soothing one and penned by the Legendary Chi. Udayshankar. Somehow the words would flow along with the music

Exactly said. The Tamil movie "Nooravadhu Naal" (noorune dhina) is a thriller and fast moving story. It demands a fast tempo and Raja modified as the movie demands. Even I like the Kannada version more because of the soothing tempo.

Ever green song from Ilayaraja!! Though don't understand the lyrics every time I hear the song gives immense joy. It sounds so sweet in kannada. Big thanks to SPB and Janaki. Appreciate your efforts to bring this version. Please do it in Telugu also.
