That first game on mobile was my favorite on this list... and sadly, it’s no longer available. Terrible state of gaming when games have no way to be played ever again.
Fully agree. But unfortunately this fanmade game is quite unplayable. I've just played it some days ago. It's more like a tech demo but the gameplay is very uncomplete and doesn't make any sense (no story at all, you can play as any character (good/ bad doesn't matter), if you die it has no consequences, some levels are broken and so on). It's a pity that this game is not developed further. Would be the perfect He-Man game if they would add some story and gameplay.
I would like Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Unreal Engine, or High-moon to make a T or M rated MOTU video game. The graphics, character designs, the story and action sequences have to be top notch. They use the recent DC comics as a template for the story. You got a money maker on your hands.
That 2009 looks best! I've never seen any of these before but there should be a Street Fighter style game with all of pop cultures heros and villains and their specific areans. I've dreamed up that for about 20 years now!
I have he-man on the Atari 2600. At the time in 1983 I couldn't wait for that game. But over time it became very limited due to the game play and graphics.
Toy soldiers: war chest particularly the hall of fame edition was... ok if you're playing for the nostalgia and if you're a fan of war turrets games, but the graphics were not up to date for the consoles, and don't get me started on the match loading times as it took about a minute or so just to get a game started. Don't get me wrong once you get pass all that it can be an enjoyable game, playing as He-man was always fun.
I played Masters of the Universe: The Arcade Game in my Commodore 64, those were the days, it was very difficult. I think the demo you played came from the ZX Spectrum or Specky (please, feel free to correct my grammar if you are from the UK)
The only He-Man game I played as a kid was a self-written mod of an existing He-Man game by a close acquaintance of mine back in the late 80s, that had math questions to be solved instead of fighting. I didn't saw that game here in that list, so I assume you missed it out. I think it was on the Commodore or maybe Amiga. I don't think he wrote the whole game, even though he was a hobby programmer back then.
When you remember that He-man never used his sword to kill an ennemy (and never killed either) in the original anime, which of those game is the most accurate ?
This is kinda depressing Especially He-Man: The Most Powerful Game in the Universe and Tappers of Grayskull He-Man: Defender of Grayskull and He-Man and She-Ra Video Game look very fun at least!
let's not fool ourselves please. Till now, the best MOTU game is the ps2 one (the second place goes to the Ios one). Masters of the universe deserves a game in The Witcher style.
Are you kidding me? Why hasn't anyone made a new He-man game?! We already have enough games for transformers, make a he-man game for the generation that grew up with great cartoons such as He-man
Almost forty years of being around all we got was crap games :/ you would think we would have got one good game out of all of them :/ why didn't we ever get a Nintendo or Sega boot of he-man?
How come I've never seen any of these 😂 I loved this as a kid
That first game on mobile was my favorite on this list... and sadly, it’s no longer available. Terrible state of gaming when games have no way to be played ever again.
WOW I had the entire He-man toy set. Never knew that they even made made a video game series.
Your kidding right they were advertised loads on TV, magazines etc
mikey p
*you're
Same here. I had zero clue there was even a single game 😢
Would of loved a Dynasty Warriors style He-man and She-Ra game
That would be perfect.
It's a shame that best looking He Man game on this list is the fan made He Man & She Ra Openbor game.
I definitely disagree with your assessment there.
Generic flash animation brawler looks like it's from NewGrounds almost 20 years ago.

Yeah, but its damn nice. Any of the games that utilizes the shows original sounds is great. Wish I could find the sounds to Dl tbh.
Which one?
@@Thunderbird1337, the game is about stopping Hordak. Skeletor’s squad teamed up to help which is sketchy but he’s done it in the cartoons before..
I don’t know why there isn’t a He-Man game like Transformers Devastation. We need that to happen badly.

Never knew a single one of these existed, huge heman too,......missed out, haha
This is crazy, I loved He-man and never played any of these. And they all look pretty awesome! I MUST HAVVVVVE THE POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Mister 80 Retro lol
Agrees
I played PS2 & iOS 2012 games. Despite what the bad public reactions for the PS2 game, it was really awesome game.
Great video, never knew of all these games, very informative you are.👍
I bought and played its Atari 2600 game back in the rad 80s.
Motu and Thundecats are the best!! Thanks Laura for this awesome and great video! Rock on!
Awesome video! I'm currently playing He-Man: Tappers of Grayskull on my phone!
Toy soldiers was fun. I enjoyed playing He-Man and his ultimate attack was awesome but it was the hardest to build up from the other heroes.
That 2009 looks best! I've never seen any of these before but there should be a Street Fighter style game with all of pop cultures heros and villains and their specific areans. I've dreamed up that for about 20 years now!
M U G.E.N. rocks, you can pretty much do what you said.
I have he-man on the Atari 2600. At the time in 1983 I couldn't wait for that game.
But over time it became very limited due to the game play and graphics.
Shame that we don't have a bigger budget He-man game.
He-Man def should've have his own beat em up game like X-Men style. Man missed opportunity back in the gap.
I want an Open World He-Man game

I’ve never played these games, but I have seen the comic book ad for the first video game though, but the newer ones in this video are cool though.
I play the ios version, of ,"the masters of the universe, the most powerful game in the universe" and indeed, it was powerful
I played Masters of the Universe: The Arcade Game in my Commodore 64, those were the days, it was very difficult. I think the demo you played came from the ZX Spectrum or Specky (please, feel free to correct my grammar if you are from the UK)

We need a tripleA open world He-man game!
No we don't. The big companies would probably just put fucking microtransactions in the game. fuck that shit
There 2 NES rom hacks of He-Man 1s a hack of Kung Fu ...
When you remember that He-man never used his sword to kill an ennemy (and never killed either) in the original anime, which of those game is the most accurate ?
Omg He-Man in a black rectangle on Spectrum from 1987 ..
awesome video games 🙂👍
Just checked google play store.....and nothing😢 a couple of those looked like they might be awesome! Wish i could still play them
I still don't understand why they never could get the He-Man games right smh
Pretty dope
I have he man tappers of greyskull for my phone. I like it. It gets fun and addicting. It has challenges too. U can earn cool stuff.

I have the ps2 game its fantastic I still have it
It's a UK exclusive right
they should put He-Man in the next MK11 Kombat Pack.
There's a He-Man game on c64 missing from this.
I played the first one when I was little
Je ne connaissais aucun de ces jeux, d'ailleurs je ne connaissais aucun jeu "masters of the universe"
He-man tappers of grayskull
He-man just seem to be inspired from DUNGEON&DRAGONS series
This is kinda depressing
Especially He-Man: The Most Powerful Game in the Universe and Tappers of Grayskull
He-Man: Defender of Grayskull and He-Man and She-Ra Video Game look very fun at least!
He-Man Atari game look like good!
You forgot about IDARB on Xbox One having a MOTU expansion.
let's not fool ourselves please. Till now, the best MOTU game is the ps2 one (the second place goes to the Ios one). Masters of the universe deserves a game in The Witcher style.
Intro Song?
2013 - The best!!!!
Are you kidding me? Why hasn't anyone made a new He-man game?! We already have enough games for transformers, make a he-man game for the generation that grew up with great cartoons such as He-man

"I HAVE THE POWER!" - oh yeah.
it more like degradation of HE-MAN games
A He-Man game that one can play as Lion-o. Well, it should be called *Masters of The Fan Service* instead.
The answer to the question is: None of the above.
