I love rebuilding Banshee's the way the cases split is awesome wish they all split like that. And you might be surprised on how often those reed boots are responsible for the engines exploding. I tell all my customers that have them to do leak down test before every season. Can't wait to see this one going and I wanna see a Banshee on Banshee race.

Yeah we are getting 2 days of 0 degree weather sunday and monday and been under freezing for 9 days total. Not common in texas. I have my plan in place tho lol. Ill be sure and kill my porch light so people down road dont come this way lol

Vinegar is great on rust I soaked my nsr150 fuel tank for a couple of days then dumped out the vinegar then washed it out with the garden hose and then put some diesel in there to stop it flash rusting
Yessir ive used it for the same thing inside of a tank before. Apple cider vinegar as well.

I thought you could only use Athena cylinders with Athena pistons. I’m ve been a motorcycle mechanic for years and I’ve talked to several machine shops such as millennium and all of them said Athena can’t be mixed. I forget the reason why but if it works than fuck it!
Depends on the cylinder but u can do both. These are new and inserted most likely. Wiseco pistons then they bore em to match.

I have one but generally w #3 and a good cordless impact driver handles it
