Hello friends,
Welcome back to Swiftlessons for another Pink Floyd guitar tutorial. Throughout my life as a musician, few things have expedited my progress and motivated me more than the opportunity to collaborate. Writing, recording and jamming with other players facilitates applied learning, allowing for richer musical experiences and greater retention. For this reason, today I'll be introducing you to a powerful new app called Indaband that allows you to connect with a worldwide music community. Using this exciting new platform, we'll queue up the band and learn how to perform David Gilmour's iconic solo from Pink Floyd's 1979 classic "Mother." Let's get started! -Rob

So satisfying to play! Thanks!
Great Tutorial as usual... appreciate the way that you break it all down and provide the appropriate fingering to each bar in each lick, then put it altogether.
Wow, great app, I can't wait to try it. Thank you for this amazing tutorial. 👍🤙
Excellent lesson, thank you!
Love this! Enjoyed learning this and on my SG too! More ideas for other solos to breakdown.
1. Free - Fire and Water
2. BTO - Roll on Down the Highway
Played it hundreds of times, but you laid it down in a way that I can improve on it... Only thing is that I can no longer listen to The Wall 😅.... Thanks
long time listener wants to say Merry Christmas, have a great day
Great explanation!
You have a tutorial for how to set an amp for very beginner ? 😅
What?
You like that S G don't you. Hahaha. Great job as usual. What solo for us mortals to learn ? Gimme all your lovin. Thank you.
Great lesson, as per usual, many thanks :)
My pleasure, thanks for the positive feedback. Let me know if you’d like for me to break down the rhythm parts, that could be a fun lesson, but certainly a challenge from a teaching perspective.
Absolutely yes please, that would be splendid!! @@swiftlessons
As always Rob you do an amazing job in explaining everything well done. The collaboration is very neat!!!
Thank you! Very nice breakdown & tab!
My pleasure Kenny!
As always, great job… 👏 👏
Thanks so much for the great lesson. Not too hard at all, really! What kind of amp settings do you recommend?
Awesome tutorial as always thanks! Is it possible to play this on acoustic? I don't have an electric yet 😆
Absolutely, though those bends will be a bit more challenging.
Thank you much, U rock bro! Killer leasons, always on point! \m/O-o\m/
Did Gilmour play this solo on a Gibson? I always thought it was a Strat?
Definitely a strat, but unfortunately I don’t have access to mine right now… I had to choose between a tele and an SG, the choice was clear haha
