It's a shame the Polidoro version was censored by Fellini's will. Polidoro's film is much closer to the book, Fellini's film has few in common with Petronius'es spirit. Polidoro has celebrated life and light when Fellini's film is just a sinister dark pretentius nightmare.

I',ve never read book and i don't like one of fellini
