really great video! I've been suffering from really tight forearms and fingers and this video helped a ton! keep it up mah man I also love that your dogs are staring at you like you teach lol
Great video- been playing for 20 years, wish I had known this 20 years ago! These Execerises have had a positive impact on my playing- also really made me think about posture as well.
Came for the stretches but couldn't help looking at your dogs kkkk, loved them. The smaller looked like he's interested, the big one wanted to sleep.. Dogs are the best animals in the world. Should live forever. Thanks for your video.
I do these exercises and it has improved my playing 100% ! Hope others watch this and do it, btw, love my Takemine just like yours , great guitar and even have my friends who all have Martins amazed at the sound and playing ability of it. Oh yeah.....cool pups too! If you had cats there I wouldn't watch this ! Hahahaha......
Thank you for this lesson. I sifted through a dozen tutorials before finding yours. After having done your recommended exercises I shall now test the benefits as I play Tarrega's study in Eminor. By the way, your guitar has character like an old person with life worn wrinkles.
Do you have a website. I'd love to be able to follow your lessons in order. I'm a beginner and have never felt so enspired to Lear (tried for years).id also be glad to contribute.
Hi, I'm a digital artist and I've been looking for exercises because I began experiencing pain on my wrist, elbow and shoulder a while ago. While following along with the exercises I experiences pain, the most severe being on the one where you stretch your whole palm. is that normal? I know this is for guitar players but I'm getting a bit desperate and I guessed this would help me too
I dont know if u have done this but can u learn us how to use your guitar as a drum also, and learn us how to combine guitar and drumming at the same time ?? :D
Eccezz I weight lift and it does have some effect on wrists and fingers. Even with stretching and proper form it could still cause havoc. Suggest using less weight. And these exercises are pretty good
hi man, thanks, I use 15 lbs dumbells and I have reduced my sessions to 1-2 times per week. i have experienced a bit of relieve Do you still lift weights?
+KAWABAnGa Everybody is also forgetting to mention that the "guitar's action" can cause problems in playing bar chords. I had an old guitar that was absolute hell to play an F Major bar chord, because I had to use a lot of strength to push the strings down which were too high. The only way you are going to know is if you get a more advanced player to try and play bars chords on it too see if they have to use more energy/pressure on the strings of the fret-board.
You're dogs looked so confused when you put down the guitar they were like "hes never done that before" 😂
Man, I really want some videos of you just playing guitar. 20 minutes, an hour, whatever, just you playing. Great job, as always!

guys, anyone has any thought or experience about lifting weights and it could be harmful for your fingers?
Eccezz I weight lift and it does have some effect on wrists and fingers. Even with stretching and proper form it could still cause havoc. Suggest using less weight. And these exercises are pretty good
hi man, thanks,

when I play bar chords my left thump hurts like hell 😫
Then keep playing bar chords until it doesn't
+KAWABAnGa
Practice it 10 mins everyday, it takes a lot of time to build strenght. Especially if you play acoustic
