Rubino micalizzato, it means "mica ruby", the same mica that is used as insulator for transistor, it's sort of metallic effect but much more enhanced. I love this car, the color and the whole idea!!! ❤
That exhaust!!… Oh My..! If I owned this car I would put mirrors on the floor of my garage and install up lights to admire the undersides! The idea for the video (million dollar sound) is a great idea. Looking forward to seeing this project play out!
perfect timing with this video! i have the fiamenghi 6 to 1 with the cats on my 599. thinking of installing the x pipe as i still have the cats in that location. im worried it might be too loud though. looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
It’s perfect - do it! This year I had my Ferrari dealership install the complete Fiammenghi system (equal length 6-1 headers, X-pipe, cat delete, and valves exhaust) it’s a work of art. I also had them install KW coil overs with front axle lift hydraulic option and spacers and lowered 40mm - 599 transformed - I’ll be watching this OE rod manual swap on NGS hoping to pursue this next. @@CR71243 sounds great! just worried about any drone sound when driving around 3000rpm? hows the ride with the KW ? thinking of options when those shocks start leaking
Is this the same valvetronic exhaust that Dave from DDE has on his 599? That thing sounds absolutely nuts, one of the best sounding exhausts ive ever heard
Very interested in seeing how this turns out. Absolutely great idea. Any plans to do intake, and a dyno tune? Very curious how the Enzo engine might wake up with some mods.
Gents, a strong advise.. suspension go for Öhlins we did on our 599 and transformed the car amazinly… so predictable and perfect fittings.. Madeno Racing is our supplier
@@normalguysupercar yes in Inconel would be my first choice, but 99% of the time you’re not going to have that option. Massively expensive and hard to work with.
I mean it's no longer under warranty so there's not really anything they can do about it. It's possible a dealership would refuse to work on it after this but unlikely
My favorite color for a 599, but I like tan interiors. I’d skip the aftermarket exhaust, it already sounds good enough but would do the manual conversion. If I lived somewhere I could drive it properly on a regular basis I would have bought a 599 when they were in the low hundreds. I think I already told the story of the guy in my neighborhood who once had a 599 that I called the “incident on 15th street 599”. He got rid of it after the incident.
@@normalguysupercar Just my opinion of course, but I thought my neighbor’s 599 sounded quite nice enough, even when he was typically driving past at 30mph in a 45mph zone. Lately I have been buying BMW’s so I suppose I have a low bar on what is gnarly enough. I have driven friends’ Ferraris and frankly they seem even louder than they functionally need to be, and I think Ferrari is just playing to their target customer base who want max noise and spectacle. The one McLaren I ever drove sounded just right for a super car, nice sound at full throttle but not obnoxious in normal driving.
Looking forward to watching the progress! Good content…thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!

Ah very cool. I should learn Italian someday. Lol

Thanks
the headers are masterpieces.congrats guys!!
That they are!

You went to the trouble and expense of putting those headers om your car and left the cats on? Thats just sad lol, get those off and let her sing!
@@redstang70 i actually bought it like that lol. i think ill try the x pipe but afraid of high drone in the car when cruising it
That header is a work of art. 😁
It's pretty badass that's for sure
I'm a normal guy. I don't have a quarter million dollars.
Ok
Is this the same valvetronic exhaust that Dave from DDE has on his 599? That thing sounds absolutely nuts, one of the best sounding exhausts ive ever heard
Yup!
To answer your question…absolutely!
Heck yeah
My buddy has a GTO, thing is AMAZING. I love the 599s but the GTO is incredible.
Yeah the GTO is on another level with the SF2 transmission
Very interested in seeing how this turns out. Absolutely great idea. Any plans to do intake, and a dyno tune? Very curious how the Enzo engine might wake up with some mods.
Tune but not Dyno
Will you use the front axle lift option on the KW coil over suspension?
No
Price ?
I think the title says $250,000 . The exhaust is 15k.
It's not for sale
I wonder if its not possible to order and fit the GTO intake manifold and smack them on as well.
You probably can buy I suspect that those are extremely expensive
the Ferrari 599 is one of my all-time favorites and if it was an EVO even better❤
Evo? Gto
@@normalguysupercar 599xx EVO, but the GTO will be more practical for the street and legal.
Looking forward to the conversion
Me too

Ah too late, already got the kw
If given a choice pick stainless steel over titanium if you want your exhaust to not crack.
Inconel FTW

Are the headers “equal length” and if not do you think it matters
I don't believe they are. It matters a Little but compared to stock they are significantly better
Did you stop doing manual conversions?
Nope
“Let’s check the color.. (opens hood) Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto”
Lol yup
Nice video.
Thanks!
599 GTB Version 2.0
Yeah
Why is the GT on a lift?
Was working on it. New starter
I am a Ferrari fanboy, but $1,000,000 for a factory manual 599 is absurd.
I agree
DDE has two :)
Yeah
If you want a cheap an intense driving experience, cancel your insurance and then drive downtown Austin.
Lol that's a different type of excitement
It seems like you guys don't have a single work bench in the whole shop, you are always working on the floor or a push cart
We have some. They just get filled up with stuff
I'm considering getting a Valvetronic exhaust for my Gen 3 Prius, please contact me below with price and availability
Lol ok
Dumb question....Will this pass California smog tests?
It will not
Out of curiosity does anyone know whether Ferrari frowns on this activity and/or are there any repercussions from Ferrari?!

The 599 really doesn't sound all that good from the factory. It's kinda disappointing.
