This song was written for a new multi-artist, double album of music and soundscapes inspired by the endangered curlew, whose evocative calls have inspired a wealth of folklore, poetry and music. Proceeds for the album will go to curlew conservation.

David, the white ladder album brings me here. However, it’s the back story of the album, my sister referring to our weekend together as the “white album” weekend when I bought the album and spent time with her. I’ve driven 30 to 40 thousand miles listening to that album. My kids were born from 98 onwards and they have both been filmed dancing with their Dad with that album. You’ve been part of my family for several years, thank you!

It's worth noting that the mp3 available at Amazon and elsewhere is 6m30sec, with more production and, it seems, a different performance.
I have no idea if I'm correct, but to me it sounds like "Dreams *scrolling* back through the years" (although could easily be scrawling) and "Feed a feeling for the *past* ".
In any case, people seem to interpret music in a way that means something to them personally, regardless of what the artist had imagined, and that's fine. Everything is fine. Cheers, Lawrence.
