We went to Awakening for Adam Beyer And Joseph Capriati and went away earlier after 20 min because of the MC kept shouting trough the breaks and the whole set. Thanx that the set is filtered from the MC sounds and finally online! So we can close the day with a good feeling after the great day. Great set as always!🎉❤

The MC is the (former) owner of Awakenings and a close friend to both Adam and Joseph. He has been doing this for as long as I have attended Awakenings parties. In the beginning, I was like you and wondered what the hell this guy is doing near the microphone. Eventually, for us, it became part of visiting Awakenings events. Having an Awakenings without at least hearing Rocco once does not feel like Awakenings at all. That being said, I am content if he only makes ONE appearance during a set and then leave it at that. For example when introducing a dj or thanking the crowd at the very end. Too bad you walked out because of that, this set was spectacular! I hope Awakenings will release the video so it can be re-lived properly.

Ich bin entsetzt und traurig darüber, wie man wieder auf so eine böse Weise, die Musik, die Kunst, das Repertoire, dessen Künstler & Musiker, derart fertig macht. Man hat durchaus Verständnis dafür, wenn's dem Einem od. Anderen, mal nicht so gefällt und es nicht zusagt. Kein Thema, soll vorkommen, das ist durchaus ganz normal. Man kann und muss nicht Alles mögen, das wäre ja Schwachsinnig, total Langweilig, denn dann hätten wir als Musiker/Künstler, keine Herausforderung mehr. Dies wäre dann auch eine langweilige, einseitige Arbeit. Man kann es nicht Allen recht machen. Aber wir geben unser Bestes dafür, das dieser Moment, zu einem schönen Moment wird und an den man sich gern zürück erinnert. Unsere Musikgeschichte und die Musikwissenschaft leidet darunter, wenn dearart so aggiert wird. Hört endlich auf mit dem Theater, mit dem ganzen Terror und kommt wieder zu dem menschen zurück, zu all dem Friedlichen, dem Schönen und dem Guten.Findet endlich wieder Zugang, den Kontakt zum menschlichen, öffnet wieder euer Herz, setzt euer Gehirn ein, schaut euch um was geschieht, hört verdammt nochmal zu, macht den Mund auf, redet wenn ihr reden wollt, aber lasst uns nicht so im Regen stehen. Ein Miteinander, ein Füreinander ist nunmal Fakt, damit das Ganze funktioniert. Hass, Boshaftigkeit, Neid & Gier, bringt da rein garnichts ! NICHT AUF DIESE ART & WEISE..WENN IHR DAS DENNOCH NICHT SEIN LASSEN KÖNNT, DANN BITTE, GEHT UND DENKT EUCH EUREN TEIL, LASST UNS ZUFRIEDEN !
