I am 13 and I have been on my schools premier volleyball team for two years now. What I have learned from experience is that serves come from focus and moving your hips with the ball. U also need to make sure u don't swing ur arm through the serve cause then the serve will go down like a spike. That is just what my coach as taught me and I am now a star server thanks to that advice. God bless all of u!
Hey KoKo! I was wondering how to deal with pressure while serving/playing. I can ace them off the court just fine when we’re winning, but as soon as it’s game point I freak out and miss. PLEASE HELP. Thanks, love your videos.

Hey Koko! I’ve watched all your serving videos and I’ve practiced really hard, but I can’t seem to get the ball over then net. I think my technique isn’t right but I can’t seem to find any tutorials on what technique, e.g how your hand should be, how hard you hit the ball-
I recommend going through her channel and finding more serve tutorials. I can't remember the exact name, but she has a perfect video that explains every single aspect of serving. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
Hey KoKo, I’m doing everything right with my serves and I’ve watched all of your serving videos but I still can’t consistently overhand serve over the net. Help please!
First, open your palm normally how you use to serve the ball. Then try poking the middle of your palm with your finger of your other hand. Take notice how soft the middle part is. Second, now try over extending all the fingers as you open your serving hand and observe how stiff the middle section of your palm becomes. This will help you put more force when you hit or spike the ball. The solid your palm becomes the more force of impact you make. Your hand gets more relax as you go along.
You're welcome. It looks that you already have your fundamentals in and you just need to muscle train. Have you tried serving behind the attack line for practice. Try getting your placement and rythm there. It is also a good place to get a hang of your correct ball trajectory over the net as well as to get your what I call "sweet spot" to hit the ball. As you get your serve on, try moving away from the attack line one step and practice serving again. Do this until you reach the service line.

good lord. i’m a 6th grader, and i have started v ball practice 2 days ago, i just got back from my 3rd practice. i was gone the 1st practice day, because my family and i were still on vacation. they explained, “A” team is gonna be people who can do “this and that” i’ll sum it up to saying, basically, “A” Team is the best, “B” team is 2nd best, and “C” team is the extras. i have been doing v ball for 2 years, and practicing at home a ton over the summer. i practiced so much to where my volleyball got a rip in it and i cut my finger open, so my mom threw it away and hasn’t bought me a new one yet. i got placed on “C” team. forgot to mention, 6 people on “A” team, 6 people on “B” team, and 19 people on “C” team. around 5 other girls were crying about being placed on “C” team. I just sucked it up, and tried to play my best the rest of practice. Ik i probably sound like a poor sport, but when my mom picked my up and i got into the car i said, “Well, mom...i got placed on the “extras” team.” and she said, “Seriously?” so i tell her about it, and she said it’s very crappy of them to put 19 girls on the “C” team and there are supposedly only 12 “good” players. So, you know, i’m pretty upset, and being the aries i am, i commit my whole 6th grade to showing them i’m better than to be on “C” team, lol. anyway, do you possibly have any tips on how to handle this or even get a bit better?

Wow, that is so cool and very rare talent.
If you ever get that developed properly that can be a lethal weapon in any volleyball tournament at any level.
First thing you need is to develop your basic approach when spiking the ball.
Do a one-step approach.
Left Hand Spiking
1. Both feet aligned 1 feet apart.
2. Make a big step with your left foot forward while arms extending to the back (the swing)
3. Step your right foot just infront of the toes of your left foot. Ready with the bow and arrow with your "Left" spiking hand. Make sure you are bending your knees around this time.
4. Jump and spike using your left hand.
Right Hand Spiking
1. Both feet aligned 1 feet apart.
2. Huge step forward with your right foot. Arms extended to the back (the swing)
3. Step for your left foot infront of you right foot. Knees bent and arms in bow and arrow position. Left hand infront while right hand behind your head.
4. Jump and spike with your right hand.
Hint:
If your left foot is in your front when you jump means you are spiking with your right hand.
If your right foot is in your front when you jump you are spiking with your left hand. Left foot = Right hand and Right foot = Left Hand.
It may take sometime to get use to but I suggest that you keep on repeating it until you develop that feet and arm swing coordination.

But I'm trying out for a club team this Nobember
Ee yay another video :0
good lord. i’m a 6th grader, and i have started v ball practice 2 days ago, i just got back from my 3rd practice. i was gone the 1st practice day, because my family and i were still on vacation. they explained, “A” team is gonna be people who can do “this and that” i’ll sum it up to saying, basically, “A” Team is the best, “B” team is 2nd best, and “C” team is the extras. i have been doing v ball for 2 years, and practicing at home a ton over the summer. i practiced so much to where my volleyball got a rip in it and i cut my finger open, so my mom threw it away and hasn’t bought me a new one yet. i got placed on “C” team. forgot to mention, 6 people on “A” team, 6 people on “B” team, and 19 people on “C” team. around 5 other girls were crying about being placed on “C” team.
