I dont understand these festivals. They are always way to full of people so u can not really dance. I prefer the good old Berlin underground scene in any fucked up basement or an old factory. This kind of music needs place to dance and feeling free. Most of them standing next to each other and banging with the head and stepping around in a 0,2m² circle.
It might look really full, but I was there and I can tell you there was enough space, Dour is one the few festivals that knows how to give everyone enough space.

Seriously, I like what Charlotte do, I went to KNTXT at Kompass it was awesome BUT this is turning mainstream, always the same songs... I would love to discover new songs in her sets, she doesn't take any risk.

I agree, she is barelly mixing, i mean 80% of time she plays a song to another and on another and for 20% she try to mix. Spending her whole set doing the show, doing nothing except dancing and trying to make her looks like she is doing something while she does nothing and waiting for the song to finish. She just drop bombs, she is not a creative DJ for sure
yes - she isn't perm mixing with 3 decks in sync all the time. I prefer her taste of music reflected in her set which I personally like a lot and her flawless "only 20%" mixing (perfectly matched songs - that's the art of djing) vs an artist trying to impress me with an overload of channels mixed perm. and btw mixing in acid phase is just great.
Du très bon son. Dommage que ce soit un set pré-enregistré. Quand une platine ne tourne pas, inutile de la ralentir avec le doigt pour mimer l'enchainement de deux tracks ;-)
Ben si en fait, si la platine ne tourne pas cela ne veut pas dire que rien ne tourne ! Ce n est pas le même fonctionnement qu avec les vynils, dans ce cas présent, le son tourne sur piste et les platines servent bien a contrôler la vitesse afin de caler les pistes entre elles. La vraie question est; sait elle faire des lives sans aucunes pistes préenregistrée, mais ça c est une autre question, très peu savent en faire, alors bon.

Dour just was like one big alternative ‘goa’ kind of festival , its better now thats my opinion. but compare this with the mainstream , EDM , Look i’m mixing with no hands and jumping on a trampoline Tommorowland. . not everything but that mainstage jeeez wtf?? their sets are sets with songs already mixed en effects prepared ... you think if they are payed 200.000$ for a ser they will take the risk to do everything on the spot?? its a fucking international show with songs i hear on the radio at work... but hey if people wanna pay almost 200$ just ticket for that ... look at the difference how charlotte is playing... she does not have time to go joking around , she’s always busy with the decks ...

Seriously, I like what Charlotte do, I went to KNTXT at Kompass it was awesome BUT this is turning mainstream, always the same songs... I would love to discover new songs in her sets, she doesn't take any risk.

Caio Carvalho It's the same kick on beat and closed hihat off beat all the time that annoys me a bit... the vibe is just great though! I noticed the same with a sleeparchive set, for an hour long the same kick.. drives me nuts! wonder what unit charlotte uses to control kick/hats/etc. besides the cd players?

I agree, she is barelly mixing, i mean 80% of time she plays a song to another and on another and for 20% she try to mix. Spending her whole set doing the show, doing nothing except dancing and trying to make her looks like she is doing something while she does nothing and waiting for the song to finish. She just drop bombs, she is not a creative DJ for sure
yes - she isn't perm mixing with 3 decks in sync all the time. I prefer her taste of music reflected in her set which I personally like a lot and her flawless "only 20%" mixing (perfectly matched songs - that's the art of djing) vs an artist trying to impress me with an overload of channels mixed perm. and btw mixing in acid phase is just great.

Du très bon son. Dommage que ce soit un set pré-enregistré. Quand une platine ne tourne pas, inutile de la ralentir avec le doigt pour mimer l'enchainement de deux tracks ;-)
Ben si en fait, si la platine ne tourne pas cela ne veut pas dire que rien ne tourne ! Ce n est pas le même fonctionnement qu avec les vynils, dans ce cas présent, le son tourne sur piste et les platines servent bien a contrôler la vitesse afin de caler les pistes entre elles. La vraie question est; sait elle faire des lives sans aucunes pistes préenregistrée, mais ça c est une autre question, très peu savent en faire, alors bon.
