I have been listening to metal for nearly 20 years now. This is the most outrageous thing I have ever heard, and I make a point of seeking out strange metal. You know what though? This works. I don't know what it is, but I'm sucked in. There are a whole host of people who won't have a bar of this because it isn't traditional metal or doesnt suit their image or whatever. Imagery, however, is a word for posers. So kindly stop calling yourself a headbanger or a metalhead and go back where you came from. Metal is just another form of music and another type of expression. I used to be a purist too. It's a pointless, fruitless exercise and you end up missing some incredible music, just because it isn't cassette black metal or whatever other thing it is. This is plain and simple good music. If you don't like it that's totally fine! But don't hate it just because it doesn't fit into the box of "What I listen to".
Totally agree, music is the expression of self and metal wakes inner feeling in my opinion the lyrics, the music, the band and the singers are all great, haters gonna hate, I just simply loce creative expression, and this is it, remember the same purist booed Van Canto and now they do great shows, I loved them since the beginning because they dare to do what they love, paying tribute to the metal they love, but in the beginning silly people booed them, they say they love music but doesn't understand the art of music

Zorbane they played sold out Tokyo Dome for 2 days in a row over 100 000 tickets last week. They currently have only one thing on their schedule right now: 8 shows in UK and Scotland playing as a special guest of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in December. I think the girls probably have school now and also again starting in January.

I don't know how the real concept of metal exactly, and a lot of people arguing about this new metal music concept but for me personally its actually work.
When Nu Metal came out, I was so pissed as fuck and could not accept that my beloved heavy metal was just violated in an unimaginable way. Almost 20 years later I crossed path with this band, it's weird but in a way that really suit my taste. I still hate Nu Metal but I really dig this J-Pop/Metal crossbreeding thing. One more thing, that Kami Band is indeed "Kami (Gods)".....

Yep, it's a montage, like Milli Vanilli. It's just a show, but people who do not know "metal" likes and believes that they really do "metal". The the girl in the middle hace a nice voice, but it's a studio singer, here, was only playback, and the other "singers" just dance.
it's not playback, she sings live, and they are real metal!!. some of the songs are more catchy or pop than others but they are very heavy and brutal, the guys are great playing the instruments and she's a very good singer. check out their other stuff, the riffs are good, the drummer is great, her vocals are great, they are the best thing that happened to metal in the last 20 or 30 years.
