I thought she also did a stint as a Kryptonian villain and a lizard alien.
I enjoyed both versions of the show they were really good, it's a shame it didn't last long.

He was the white haired kid in the show Eiree Indiana another show that I liked watching.
I liked him and the Molly character a lot, they were my favorite from the second season.
He's a 90's kind of guy.

Ben Affleck was in the previous episode. Jared Leto is in this one. Both Batman and the Joker are on this show.
I can almost imagine Max Goof encountering Batman & The Joker.
Okay, now I see where Jared played the Joker. I didn't know he did it in the recent Justice League because I haven't seen it yet.
The previous episode was actually the series finale, if you go by production codes.

I enjoyed The Torkelsons much more than this show. Still good. Left me wanting more though.

That The Infamous Black Dress From "Pretty Woman." Julia Roberts Wore It.
I feel this show lost a lot of it's emotion and heart in the second season. Especially when you compare it to the first season. The first season almost every episode it brought me to tears. The second season doesn't really have a lot of that if at all.
some of us don't dig that sentimental stuff though ...I like this version better.

Agreed. This one is just for entertainment but the first season had real substance.
It's slightly terrifying that I understood some of what the wife said. 2020 and lack of conversation has turned my brain to mush.
The actress for Lady Harrington must have been having a ball with that part, LOL.

I missed the original Torkelsons. Almost Home felt just whipped together with no real thought. No wonder it flopped after 1 season.
I agree with you. This version is…fine. But I really miss the heart, the lessons, Boarder Hodges(!) from the first season.

I actually do think he was annoying. He has literally one tone: sarcastic girl crazy douche. That’s it. Nothing more.
I never noticed how handsome and articulate he actually is . I was so used to seeing him as " annoying sidekick" to JT on step by step but he's actually a really good actor ❤
I don't blame Molly, Millicent or Brian for not wanting to be near Crusher one bit because I am not a fan of snakes either. As long as they are kept in a cage, I can handle it. However, the moment someone takes the snake out of it's cage, I am Splitsville.
I had a Silver Spoons episode on the DVR from Antenna TV when Rick was watching Alfonso's boa constrictor.
Hey I wouldn't mind having a snake like Crusher for a pet, I'd just would have to keep it away from my budgies or else not a pretty picture.

The actor that played Sir Reginald Harrington is Veteran English Actor, Director and Playwright Paxton Whitehead best known for playing the long-suffering butler and head of the household staff Albert Dudley on the syndicated comedy Marblehead Manor and the actress who played his wife Linda is Veteran English Actress Sarah Douglas best known as Pamela Lynch on the Prime Time Soap Falcon Crest, Queen Taramis in Conan the Destroyer and most notably the evil villainess Ursa in Superman II
She is a still a beautiful woman
Paxton Whitehead also played stuffy professor Philip Barbay, Rodney Dangerfield's nemesis in the movie "Back to School".

Marblehead Manor only lasted one season, sadly. But I do remember it. And it came out right after Back to School, so it was a way for Paxton to ride in on its success.

I really wanted to see the relationship between these two families go forward, see how Millicent gained Gregory and Molly's approval for a step mom, see Brian and Millicent have a relationship. Maybe see an episode where they are expecting a child. Oh so much more could've been done before it ended. It could've at least lasted two more seasons then end with Brian and Millicent get married and then a cut forward with their child.
I really didn't want to see the adults get together. That's like Who's the Boss? and other shows where you have a man and woman living together. Can't they just have a platonic relationship and not get together?
I didn't. I think it would have been more refreshing and honest had Mrs Torkelson just helped to raise his kids and then once the kids had graduated, Mrs Torkelson would have said Thanks and adios and enjoyed her single life on her own with no one else! ^_^

I think Mrs. Torkelson and Mr Morgan should have gotten together . I would have liked to seen more of them

Mickey Mouse I felt they didn't have a lot of ideas for him and Ruth Ann which may be why they were written off.

Funny how Disney let them name this episode after one of their animated movies.
Titles aren't copyrighted so as long as the plot isn't the same it is okay. They had a title in the first season called The Egg and I, which is not only a film, but an episode that MWC had as a title in the same year.
this was owned by disney in some way shape or form...the first season was disney, although the second was touchstone. And reruns aired on disney channel, so i guess they had some hand in it somewhere
