🐈⬛: You know, about saying things. I don't mean cursing. For example, 'What are you doing?' (rude way) 'Yaa' (rude way to call someone). Things like this hurt my feelings.

That sweater was funny af. This is why KQ should market to the US (and West, in general) because that's the whole mood and vibe here. That sweater would have been a hit.
Also, should definitely teach everyone to translate everything they don't know. 😂
It was kinda funny & he seems to have taken it well. I hope he didn’t get into trouble for it. But like he said, I wish fans were nicer to him when they pointed it out. I think especially with Wooyoung, fans never seem to consider how the things they say or the way they say it might affect him. Yes, he jokes around with us a lot but being rude or thinking you can talk to him like you would to a friend who is okay with that tone is just not ok.
True. I mean, he's extroverted and flirtatious and everything, but he has feelings too. I feel like people sometimes cross the line because they think he's kind and will not get affected but that isn't always the case.
Exactly

Woo is so cute and very handsome no one should be making fun of him ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Guys be nice. Our woo woo bear deserves so much better than this, and it breaks my heart for him that he’s getting all these hate comments just because of a stupid sweater. Grow up and touch some grass if you’re gonna be this mean to him.
Hahahahahaha I'm sorry but that sweater will always make me laugh xD, although I agree with the comment below 🤭; I think that he prob had a slight idea of what it said xD but maybe he did it for the lolz or idk
People are just getting way too comfortable on the internet. Fans need to remember he's not our friend, he doesn't know us. So, when we talk to him, it's the same as talking to any public figure. That's all he wants, and I hope fans remember that moving forward! Also, I hope the global marketing leader was kind to him, too. It's an honest mistake, and it wasn't even serious. Nothing was hurt... except his pride a lil bit! 😆
These rude people need to remind themselves that your idol are not your friend, can they manage friendliness without being too casual? In the end, these idols are strangers bruh, be mindful, also good job Wooyo for telling his stand on it
Also im so tired of seeing some people percieved him as a liar constantly for that sweater, its fine as light hearted passing joke and i also found that sweater is hilarious but like well moving on, yet somehow I see some people blatantly leaning to be hateful and so insistant in delivering it, dude, knowledge of slang American English words are not universally applicable to every EFL learners, its possible that Wooyo might know some slang but not the others? I mean like as if learning to understand English somehow gained him the grand knowledge of all American slang which is most likely a cultural thing, especially for someone who most likely did not consume American media too often
I laughed so hard at his sweater! Which is, somewhat, rude, I admit! But it was just too funny to me. Do I think he knows what the words are? Yes. Do I think he understands the slang/colloquial meaning of it in American English? (I cannot speak for other versions of English, as I am not as familiar with them.) No. I don't honestly. I think he may have figured that it was something that would make people smile/laugh, because that's pretty common with words on clothing. But, for example, take all the shorts/sweats/underwear that for many years were popular that said "Juicy" on the backside. There is the word "juicy", which is usually used to describe something like food, but then there is the slang version that can be applied to lots of things, and then there is the brand "Juicy". The word is the same, said the same, pronounced, the same, and with at least shades of the same meaning. But the overall meaning is very different between the three versions. So, do I think he actually understood what the saying was? No. Or at least not the same extent that a native, and fully fluent, speaker would.
...this man trying to tell us he had zero idea what that sweater said...when we've seen him read and write in English and a number of his band mates read English fluently 😂
Calling shenanigans
too much fuss about nothing. I think it's a failure of his staff if they are worried about image. but in the US we're more lax and Korean culture is more conservative.
후후 난 그거 번역기 안돌리고 알았지.. 어떻게 알았냐면... 💖💚💜
Yeah right 😂 I think he knew exactly what that sweater said. He has had enough English lessons, has heard many Rap songs, watched movies/online content and been to the US enough to clearly understand what that phrase meant. 😂 He is being his usual mischievous self. 😂 If anything maybe he didn’t realize just how spicy that meaning would be interpreted by fans. It was a bold move that got him the attention he wanted. Hilarious 😂
Nah I think he more polite to wear the sweater on public, you know how he's with respect and manners, I think he keeps his mischievous side to the close people like the members, fans and staff but not the public eye 😅
@@BTS.SVT.K-pop yeah I think he’s being honest here, he seemed a little embarrassed imo
@pointseventhree yeah he probably know the meaning of each word written but he couldn't or just didn't link the meaning of it, I'm honestly same even though I'm almost fluent in English it look me a while to get it lol
And here I thought he was making a statement cause he got yelled at by his mom for his newest tattoo 🤣😄🙃
wooyoung is not fluent in english and i dont know how the mind of someone who's monolingual works, but people who are still begginners in learning a language don't always (almost never) understand slangs and things like that. if wooyoung said that he didn't know, then he didn't know. i dont know what's the point of doubting his words as if they were something unbelievable.
Could I ask what did his sweater say?
