You are spot on regarding the Camillus carbon steel! It was made for them by Sharon Steel and eventually used by Cold Steel in their early days, under the trademark "Carbon V." Great steel and great video!
Thank you paddy, my internet has been out for a couple of days and now it's decided to turn back on! I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with it. That aside, all's well on my end and hope your doing good too.
ISLANDOUTDOORS1 glad to have you back and I doing ok mate, getting more and more into sharpening.look forward to seeing your collection again.atb paddy.
I sure do miss Camillus and Schrade knives. You might say, well Camillus and Schrade are still making knives. Well all I have to say to that is, NO, No they are not. There name is being put on Chinese knives. I'll concede to that. However Camillus and Schrade are long long gone, thanks to unions and greed.
I have an old military knife from the early 90's made by Camillus. I love mine. They really did make some great knives.
Super knife, great value with custom features! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you like this little stockman pocket knife.
I bought one in 1974...good knife.
Great info! Helped me to identify my grand fathers knife. Late 60's #77 mini whittler.

another nice knife:) interesting about how they did the two secondary blades. Now iam going to take a closer look at my Camillus stockman's.
It sounds like you have an amazing collection. It's funny the old Buck stockmans go for good money but you can buy a Camillus a little cheaper.
Comella's and Schrade miss those companies
Great Video. When I am ready to purchase my first new "classic" knife I hope I can ask you for some pointers.
You sure can, I'd be happy to help!
