Ashley Ippolito if you want a reddish purpley kinda look then you can get hicolor. it doesn’t damage your hair like bleach does and it comes out vibrant. i say for your thick hair get 2-3 bottles, and get developer. 10 volume developer will leave u with not as pigmented (the lowest and 40 will leave u with more pigmented (the highest). i hope this helped ☺️

If you want colour in your hair or dye it all, you have to actually bleach it. I don't know if you're trying to avoid it but since you have really dark hair the colour on the dye will not work. Getting stronger dye is not gonna help either. You have to tone down your hair for the dye to work. So in order to have your hair dyed you have to bleach it to tone down the darkness of your hair so the colour can stick.
Luckily since the color is dark enough she doesnt have to lift it too much to get it to stay.

If you wanna do purple, be careful about the dye, because some purples have blue/green undertones (so it washes out green) and other have red/pink (washes out pink), personally I think a purple with red undertones would look great, like an eggplant color maybe ❤️ I love this video btw your little bangs look so amazing

I’m dying mine purple 🤷🏻♀️ The lime crime unicorn purple seems to cover dark hair but it’s Demi permanent and will wash out but it’s vegan and doesn’t damage your hair it’s basically a deep conditioner.
