    "The Largest Bust Sculpture"
    Adiyogi Shiva Statue, Chikkaballapur Overview
Situated amidst the calming nature at the foothills of Nandi hills, the statue of Adiyogi Shiva is one of the major attractions of Chikkaballapur. It was constructed by Jaggi Vasudev, also known as Sadhguru, the founder of the Isha Foundation. The location is intended to serve as an important centre for spiritual development.
Standing 112 feet tall, 82 feet wide, and 147 feet long, the statue is a replica of the Adiyogi Shiva statue at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The figure is named Adiyogi in homage to Shiva (Shankara), the famed Hindu deity who originated the Yoga Sadhana, and it translates to "the first yogi." The magnificent monument weighs 500 tonnes of steel, and according to the Guinness Book of World Records, it is the "Largest Bust Sculpture" ever built.
You can attend a stunning 14-minute visual imagery show projected on the Adiyogi. Sadhguru's lecture accompanies this visual delight on Adiyogi, which occurs every day at 7 p.m. This show highlights Adiyogi's devotion to humanity. The Naga shrine represents a robust process called Kala Sarpa Seva with 112 carved serpents. The process is believed to improve one's physical and mental health, as well as that of their family (especially for women), helps to treat skin conditions, and helps with mental health problems. It is also believed this seva can free one from Naga and Kula Dosha and aids those pursuing magical prowess.
Adiyogi Chikkaballapura also follows a potent 30-minute ritual that will strengthen your relationship with the Yogeshwar Linga. Yoga Sandhya enlivens your energy, aids in elegantly navigating life's challenges, and fosters a strong spiritual connection with the Yogeshwar Linga.
To connect with Yogeshwar Linga's energies, devotees can present water and neem leaves to the linga with their own hands.
