Agree - they make it look seamless to incorporate other talent into their group. It isn't, but they make it look that way. My guess is that it's a combination of choosing the right talent, and - as Geoff has commented - arranging for the voices you have, not the voices you wish you had. Everyone gets to play to their strengths in a VoicePlay performance.
As a life long Kansan I'm really picky about covers of this one because this is basically the song of my people. VP always delivers and when Eli hit that first line I knew it was gonna be awesome. I was blown away and I have to turn traitor and say I like this more than the original. These guys are just so dang good!
This is one of my favorite covers that they have done. I like the original, but I think I like this version better. I especially love ❤️ that crescendo at the end.
Great reaction, I really enjoy your enthusiasm when watching Voiceplay. You haven't reacted to Go The Distance yet, or Can't Help Falling in Love. They are both great, both done before Cesar joined the group. You've only reacted to two of Geoff's solo pieces, I highly recommend House of the Rising Sun.! Subscribed.
This is definitely a favorite, the vocals are just amazing, but the arrangement with the breakdown put on a whole other level. Your face said the same when they hit it..lol Let us know what the wifey thought!!
Oh nice! You did listen to it! :) I thought you'd appreciate it lol I really love this version of this song, maybe even more than the original. Not sure if you knew VoicePlay released a new one recently. It's not classic rock, but still pretty awesome. It's a cover of the song Enemy from the animated series Arcane League of Legends (original song by Imagine Dragons). You don't really need to know anything about League of Legends (it's a video game) or Arcane (as mentioned, an animated show based off the video game). Again another song I like better than the original. Edit: Subbed again by the way, not sure how I got unsubbed)

You would think it's impossible for an Acapella group to cover a rock song and have it be truly good but here we are, lol. Love this one!
They never rest on their laurels, just keep getting better and better.
Eli killed this another one he’s amazing in is Kiss ❤️🏴

Ok some sacred ground for me let's hear it.....ok...pretty darn good, they did it justice. Geoff is a freak of vocal nature.

Voiceplay never disappoint- just keeps getting better and better!
You were just about to start headbanging there, I love it! Great reaction, D!
This song was my introduction to Voiceplay, and since then it is still top on my favorites of their songs. My Mother Told Me is second.
Thanks for your great reaction! This is one of my favorites too.
Have you reacted to Geoff Castellucci (bass) solo? He just released a cover of Elvis's "Way Down". Very different video for him. His best yet.
Now we need your old lady to react to this 😍
If you want to hear the beginnings of rock in Argentina, I suggest you listen to ¨Sucio y Desprolijo¨ of PAPPOS BLUES, 1972 original version.
Oh nice! You did listen to it! :) I thought you'd appreciate it lol
